Perolehan aset MALBATT ambil kira keperluan operasi domestik - Adly
KUALA LUMPUR: Perolehan aset bagi pasukan Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) bukan hanya bertujuan menyokong operasi misi pengaman antarabangsa, sebaliknya menjadi sebahagian daripada langkah memperkukuh kesiapsiagaan serta keupayaan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), kata Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan Adly Zahari.
Beliau berkata walaupun misi pengaman MALBATT di Lubnan akan berakhir pada hujung 2026, perolehan baharu melibatkan 10 unit kenderaan MALBATT dalam Belanjawan 2026 mengambil kira keperluan jangka panjang Tentera Darat.
Adly berkata perolehan aset baharu itu akan dioptimumkan bagi kegunaan operasi dalam negara, selain penugasan pengaman di lokasi baharu pada masa depan, bergantung pada keperluan operasi dan hala tuju strategik ATM.
"Perancangan ke depan perlu jelas. Kita memang mempromosikan misi pengaman pada peringkat antarabangsa, bukan sahaja di Lubnan (Lebanon)

"Untuk pembelian aset baharu, lokasi kita beroperasi sebagai misi pengaman, kita bawa aset Tentera Darat dari dalam negara dan perolehan kenderaan itu boleh dimanfaatkan sebagai keperluan aset dalam negara," katanya ketika menggulung perbahasan Rang Undang-Undang Perbekalan (Belanjawan) 2026 peringkat jawatankuasa bagi Kementerian Pertahanan di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.
Mengulas tentang cadangan penggunaan aset sama untuk misi pengaman berpotensi seperti di Gaza, Adly berkata peruntukan sedia ada boleh disesuaikan dengan keperluan operasi baharu sekiranya kerajaan memutuskan penyertaan ATM dalam misi terbabit.

Sementara itu, Adly berkata Tentera Darat telah menerima kelulusan bagi perolehan aset meriam artileri Self Propelled Howitzer (SPH) 155 mm daripada Bahagian Perolehan pada 17 Nov lepas dan status semasa perolehan kini pada peringkat rundingan harga sebelum kertas perolehan dikemukakan kepada Kementerian Kewangan.
"Saya fikir proses ini boleh dimuktamadkan menjelang tahun hadapan atau mungkin seawal penghujung tahun ini," katanya sambil menambah sebanyak RM50 juta diperuntukkan tahun depan bagi meneruskan perolehan SPH berkenaan.

Beliau berkata Tentera Darat telah melaksanakan uji nilai terhadap enam sistem SPH yang ada di pasaran dan keputusan uji nilai telah dibentangkan kepada Lembaga Perolehan sebelum diangkat untuk perakuan Kementerian Kewangan.
Uji nilai itu katanya, penting untuk memastikan Tentera Darat memperoleh sistem yang benar-benar memenuhi keperluan operasi dan latihan, selain memilih aset yang terbukti berkesan (battle-proven).

Dewan Rakyat kemudiannya meluluskan anggaran perbelanjaan mengurus dan pembangunan berjumlah RM21,746,268,300 bagi kementerian itu dalam Belanjawan 2026, dengan majoriti suara bersetuju selepas dibahas 13 Ahli Parlimen.
