Jakarta (ANTARA) - Asisten Operasi Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Laut Laksamana Muda Yayan Sofiyan mengatakan TNI AL harus menyiapkan kurang lebih 500 pelaut untuk menjadi awak calon kapal induk Indonesia Giuseppe Garibaldi.
"Personelnya itu ada sekitar 500 pelaut yang harus mengawaki. Dari mulai sekarang sampai level perwiranya harus memiliki kompetensi kompetensi khusus sebagai pengawak kapal induk," kata Yayan dalam diskusi bertajuk Indonsia's Blue Water Transition: Why High-Value ASW/ AAW Assets Will Decide Its Credibility yang digelar secara daring, Rabu.
Yayan melanjutkan jumlah kru kapal bahkan diperkirakan bisa lebih dari 500 karena belum mencakup kru tidak inti yakni di luar kru navigasi hingga penerbang.
Selain kru, jajarannya juga harus mempersiapkan infrastruktur pendukung kapal induk seperti tempat bersandar dan kebutuhan teknis lain yang harus dimiliki kapal.
Belum lagi kebutuhan logistik untuk para kru yang akan bertugas di atas kapal dalam waktu lama.
"Bisa kita bayangkan sandar di suatu tempat membutuhkan dukungan logistik kru yang 500. Itu hanya kru inti saja. Kru untuk penerbangan, sistem aviation dan sebagainya," kata Yayan.
Walau harus melakukan banyak persiapan, Yayan meyakini TNI AL siap untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut demi pengoperasian kapal induk maksimal. Hingga saat ini, TNI Al masih menunggu proses akuisisi yang berjalan di tingkat Kementerian Pertahanan dan pihak Italia dan juga Fincantieri selaku galangan kapal.

Defence Minister DS Khaled Nordin told Parliament today that the sea trials for the ship has been rescheduled for April and its commissioning this December, a delay of four months of the original schedule. LCS 2 commissioning is postponed to August 27 while LCS 3 commissioning remained on schedule for December 2027. As with LCS 4 on August 2028 and LCS 5 April 2029.

Malaydesh Coast Guard (Penjaga Pantai Malaydesh ) dikabarkan akan menerima hibah eks USCGC Steadfast.
USCGC Steadfast adalah sebuah Reliance class Medium Endurance Cutter (WMEC 623) yang telah beroperasi bersama USCG selama 56 tahun sebelum didekomisionalkan pada 1 Februari 2024.
USCGC Steadfast dibuat galangan American Shipbuilding Company, di Lorain, Ohio, Amerika Serikat, Steadfast diluncurkan pada 24 April 1967 dan resmi bertugas mulai Steadfast pada 3 Agustus 1968. Jumlah total Reliance class yang dibangun oleh US Coast Guard (USCG) adalah 16 unit. Kini beberapa Reliance class akan digantikan dengan kapal Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) baru dari Heritage class, yang jauh lebih modern, besar, dan multifungsi.

Kapasitas Tempur: Dapat melengkapi hingga 10-12 Batalyon Infanteri (dengan asumsi setiap kompi memiliki regu bantuan senjata).
Opsi B: PSRL-1 (Varian Modern AS / AirTronic)
Varian ini adalah standar yang mulai diadopsi TNI (khususnya satuan elit/infanteri modern) karena materialnya lebih ringan, akurasi tinggi, dan bisa dipasangi berbagai aksesoris picatinny rail.
Harga Peluncur: ± Rp80.000.000 per unit.
Harga Amunisi: ± Rp8.000.000 per butir roket (menggunakan hulu ledak yang lebih presisi).
Total Unit Peluncur: ± 500 Unit.
Total Stok Amunisi: ± 5.000 Butir Roket.
Rasio Operasional: Setiap 1 peluncur dibekali dengan 10 roket cadangan (fokus pada kualitas tembakan).
Kapasitas Tempur: Dapat melengkapi sekitar 3-4 Batalyon Infanteri dengan standar persenjataan modern.

Apapun varian yang dipilih, anggaran Rp20 miliar sisanya akan dialokasikan untuk:
Biaya Pelatihan: Pelatihan intensif untuk operator senjata (gunner) dan asistennya mengenai pemeliharaan dan teknik menembak efektif.
Suku Cadang (Spare Parts): Penyediaan cadangan pin pemukul (firing pin), pegas, dan pembersihan laras.
Sistem Optik: Pembelian teropong bidik siang/malam (PGO-7V atau sejenisnya) untuk meningkatkan akurasi jarak jauh.
Logistik Distribusi: Biaya pengiriman dari produsen ke gudang pusat (Puspalad) hingga distribusi ke tingkat daerah (Kodam).
