SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. - Environmental Tectonics Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: ETCC) ("ETC" or the "Company") is pleased to officially announce the availability of its newest GYROFLIGHT motion based flight simulator at the I/ITSEC event, November 30 through December 3, 2009 in Orlando, FL.ETC's newest GYROFLIGHT, as sold to the NASTAR Center is based on the flight dynamics and cockpit configuration of the dual role strike fighter the Sukhoi SU-30 Flanker.
The GYROFLIGHT has a unique 4 Degree of Freedom (DoF) (pitch, roll, yaw, and heave) electro-mechanical motion base offering high reliability and low operation and maintenance costs. It is capable of generating +/-25 degree pitch, +/-25 degree roll, +/-360 degree continuous yaw, and +/-5" heave. This simulator features wide field of view visuals and twenty fully automated spatial disorientation training profiles.
Attendees to booth 767 at I/ITSEC will have an opportunity to fly the SU-30 as time permits throughout the duration of the event.
