Images of KamAZ 65224 and Kamaz 43119 military transport trucks recently handed over to Vietnam by Russia have appeared on military pages.

Kamaz is one of the largest truck manufacturers in the world, their military (and civilian) trucks have been present in many wars, conflicts and proven reliability and performance,  endurance and great strength.

Not only supplying the Russian Army, Kamaz is also present throughout the world, in which Vietnam is a familiar market from the Soviet era. Recently we have decided to import a series of 6x6 Kamaz 65224 and Kamaz 43119 trucks to equip transport units.

According to the Russian announcement, the Vietnamese version ordered was a military variant. However, the fact that the manufacturer is always ready to sell all the configurations to both civilian customers so the above classification is only relative.

The first is the Kamaz 65224 strategic truck model, this is the latest generation of Kamaz's active 6x6 three-wheeled military truck, with many outstanding features compared to its predecessors.

Kamaz 65224 is equipped with a powerful turbocharged diesel engine with a capacity of 360 horsepower, meeting Euro-2 emission standards, making it easy to cross all terrain when carrying a tonnage of up to 14 tons and only consuming about 30 liters of fuel/100 km, saving from 15-20% compared to other engines of the same type.

Vehicles equipped with a 16-speed gearbox (ZF 16S151), allowing operating at an altitude of 4,500 m above sea level, on any complex terrain. The price of Kamaz 65224 is estimated at 70,000 USD/car, quite high but worthy of their features.

While Kamaz 43119 is an active 3-wheel cross-country military transport vehicle (6x6 wheel structure) manufactured in Russia, it is classified as a military-grade military truck when it is less capable than Kamaz 65224. .

Kamaz 43119 uses Kamaz-740.30-260 engine with the largest capacity of 260 horsepower with maximum torque of 1,060 Nm at 2,000 rpm, giving the ability to overcome very strong terrain.

Both Kamaz 65224 and Kamaz 43119 military trucks have been introduced at the DSE 2019 Exhibition held in Hanoi recently, which is a positive signal for the post-manufacturer exhibition to bring many prototypes. more real.
