Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) telah memutuskan untuk menginvestasikan total KRW 908,6 miliar won (US$700 juta) dalam pengembangan Single-Seat FA-50 dan Advanced Air Vehicle (AAV) dan pada rapat dewan direksi pada tanggal 7 Maret, untuk mempercepat pengembangan proyek masa depan.
Mereka akan menginvestasikan KRW 355,6 miliar won (US$27 juta) dalam pengembangan Single-Seat FA-50. Rencananya adalah untuk secara proaktif menanggapi permintaan pasar pesawat tempur multiperan global dan menciptakan pasar baru dengan memperluas portofolionya.
FA-50, sebuah pesawat tempur multi-peran, adalah inti dari ekspor K-defense Korea, dengan 138 unit diekspor ke seluruh dunia sejauh ini, dan permintaan untuk jenis kursi tunggal terus dikonfirmasi oleh operator yang ada.
FA-50 berkursi tunggal diharapkan dapat mendiversifikasi peluang bisnis dengan lebih meningkatkan kemampuan misi multiguna, seperti memperluas radius misi operasi udara-ke-udara dan udara-ke-darat, dan memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan melalui berbagai opsi.
KAI berharap dapat mencapai pangsa pasar lebih dari 50 persen di pasar kursi tunggal, yang diperkirakan berjumlah lebih dari 450 unit, termasuk ekspor ke luar negeri dan komersialisasi dalam negeri, sehingga menciptakan pasar hingga 300 unit.
“Kami telah mencapai hasil dalam bisnis utama kami, seperti mencapai penjualan tertinggi tahun lalu, dan telah membangun landasan yang kokoh untuk bisnis masa depan,” kata Presiden KAI Kang Koo-young. “Kami akan memperluas investasi kami dalam bisnis masa depan berdasarkan teknologi Revolusi Industri ke-4 sebagai persiapan menghadapi era kedirgantaraan baru dan mendahului pasar kedirgantaraan di masa depan.”

KAI juga akan menginvestasikan KRW 55,3 miliar won (US$40 juta) pada tahap pertama pengembangan AAV. Dimulai dengan investasi ini, perusahaan akan melakukan transisi pengembangan AAV dari tahap teknologi inti ke pengembangan sistem dan mulai mengkomersialkan AAV.
Investasi ini akan digunakan untuk tahap pertama (2024-2025) pengembangan sistem AAV, yang diperkirakan mencapai total KRW 150 miliar won (US$120 juta) pada tahun 2028, untuk melaksanakan desain dasar dan detail berdasarkan geometri model eksklusif. dan untuk mendemonstrasikan teknologi inti seperti propulsi listrik terdistribusi, kontrol penerbangan, dan desain pesawat yang terintegrasi.
Pada tahap kedua (2026-2028), perusahaan berencana menyelesaikan produksi dan uji terbang kendaraan udara serta memasuki pasar domestik dan internasional pada tahun 2031 melalui perolehan sertifikasi FAA domestik dan AS.
Berdasarkan demonstran teknologi AAV yang dikembangkan sendiri, KAI berencana untuk mengembangkan platform AAV standar Korea bersamaan dengan tugas badan antariksa di masa depan dan mengkomersialkan pengembangan AAV sipil-militer. Pada tahun 2050, mereka menargetkan penjualan kumulatif sebanyak 23.000 unit di dalam dan luar negeri.

To start with the RMAF was never really enamoured with it despite the long range; large carrying capacity; TVCs and other things which on paper is impressive and mesmerises many.

As such any suggestions as to how we can upgrade the Su-30s is delusional; not in line with reality as the RMAF will only spend what is needed to keep it operational and to replace parts/components which need replacing. masalah BESAR yang dihadapi malon adalah avionics Su-30 mkm adalah menggunakan teknologi Prancis dan Israel yang mana hanya diproduksi dalam jumlah TERBATAS sesuai jamannya, sehingga saat dihadapkan pada UPGRADE AVIONICS alami permasalahan tidak berlanjutnya produksi produk avionics yang dipakai oleh malon. Pabrik Prancis dan Israel tetep berproduksi dengan avionics yang Lebih Modern TAPI TIDAK SESUAI dengan design Su-30 mkm nya malon.
