Meriam Eva RM805 juta bukan kehendak ATM?
KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Pertahanan diminta menjelaskan isu pembelian meriam Eva buatan Republik Czech bernilai RM805 juta yang dikatakan tidak memenuhi keperluan ‘end user’ iaitu Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), gesa Datuk Awang Solahuddin Hashim (PN-Pendang).
“Benarkah sekarang ini MOF (Kementerian Kewangan) telah mengeluarkan Letter of Intent (LOI) yang berjumlah RM805 juta kepada syarikat Global Komited Sdn Bhd iaitu anak syarikat Weststar yang dikatakan tak ada dalam senarai?
“Tetapi atas arahan sesuatu, diberikan kepada syarikat Global Komited ini untuk pembelian Eva buatan Republic Czech yang menawarkan harga termahal yang melepasi siling MOF ini?” soalnya.
Tambah beliau, tindakan itu dikatakan bertentangan dengan kehendak Angkatan Tentera Darat yang memilih Caesar buatan Perancis yang mana harganya boleh diterima oleh semua pihak.
“Difahamkan juga pihak Tentera Darat telah mengeluarkan surat bantahan di atas keputusan Kementerian Kewangan ini. Jadi saya harap minta penjelasan daripada Menteri Pertahanan hari ini,” ujarnya.
Beliau berkata demikian semasa sesi penggulungan oleh Menteri Pertahanan pada sesi Perbahasan Menjunjung Kasih Titah di-Raja di Dewan Rakyat hari ini.
Jawapan Menteri Pertahanan
Menteri Pertahanan, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin dalam jawapannya berkata bahawa beliau tidak dapat memberikan makluman secara mendalam berkaitan isu itu.
Namun beliau percaya dan dimaklumkan bahawa semua proses perolehan itu mengikut prosedur operasi standard (SOP) perolehan yang ditetapkan Kementerian Kewangan.
“Untuk makluman Yang Berhormat berdasarkan perancangan perolehan tahunan tahun lepas 2023, terdapat 26 senarai perbekalan peluru, perolehan peluru dan bahan letupan pada tahun lepas.
“Dan kesemua 23 projek perolehan peluru tentera (PPT) pada tahun 2023 telah dilaksanakan secara tender terbuka dengan nilai anggaran kontrak sebanyak RM391 juta.
“Baki tiga PPT yang tidak dapat dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 telah dibawa ke tahun ini. Jadi bagi tahun ini terdapat 41 projek perolehan-perolehan PPT dengan nilai kontrak sebanyak RM464 juta,” ujarnya.
Tambahnya semua perolehan-perolehan itu akan turut dilakukan secara tender terbuka dari semasa ke semasa mengikut keperluan.

PENGADAAN LCS 2011 = Pengadaan enam LCS pada 2011 itu juga dilakukan tanpa tender terbuka. Kapal-kapal itu akan dibangun di Galangan Kapal Boustead dan unit pertama sedianya dikirim pada 2019.
