jagatbisnis.com – JAKARTA. Pesawat Super Hercules C-130J unit kelima pesanan Indonesia dijadwalkan tiba di Indonesia pada 17 Mei mendatang.
Kepala Biro Humas Sekretariat Jenderal Kementerian Pertahanan RI Brigjen Edwin Adrian Sumantha mengatakan, pesawat akan berangkat dari pabrikannya, Lockheed Martin di Georgia, Amerika Serikat, pada Jumat (10/5/2024).
Selanjutnya, pesawat berjenis angkut berat itu bakal tiba di Pangkalan TNI Angkatan Udara (Lanud) Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta Timur, pada Jumat (17/5/2024).
“Rencana awal berangkat tanggal 10 Mei 2024 dan tiba di Tanah Air tanggal 17 Mei 2024,” ujar Edwin melalui pesan tertulis, Senin (6/5/2024).
Diketahui, Indonesia memesan lima unit pesawat Super Hercules C-130J dari AS. Unit keempat telah tiba di Tanah Air pada 22 Januari 2024.
Ketiga pesawat yang telah tiba sebelumnya sudah mulai menjelajahi langit Indonesia dengan ditandai Navigation Exercise pada awal September 2023.
Terakhir, Yordania Akan Salurkan via Udara Bahkan, ketiga pesawat Super Hercules itu telah melaksanakan flypast saat perayaan hari ulang tahun (HUT) ke-78 TNI di atas Monumen Nasional (Monas), Jakarta Pusat, 5 Oktober 2023.

Mengulas lanjut, beliau menjangkakan penggantian platform mobiliti udara dijadualkan dapat dibuat Kementerian Pertahanan ketika Rancangan Malaysia Ke-16 pada 2041 hingga 2045. Justeru ujar beliau, program naik taraf avionik akan terus dilaksanakan bagi meningkatkan tahap keupayaan C-130 Hercules supaya pesawat itu mampu beroperasi sehingga tahun 2040.
