Koarmada II Ikuti FPC Orruda 2024
Perwakilan dari Komando (Koarmada) II yakni Komandan KRI I Gusti Ngurah Rai-332 Kolonel Laut (P) Ahmad Ahsan, dan Komandan KRI Frans Kaisiepo-368 Letkol Laut (P) Lustia Budi, mengikuti Final Planning Conference (FPC) Orruda Tahun 2024 yang digelar selama dua hari dari tanggal 12 s.d. 13 Juni 2024, bertempat di Lounge Room Hotel Platinum Surabaya. Rabu (12/6).
Kegiatan tersebut dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua Delegasi TNI Angkatan Laut Kolonel Laut (P) Lukman Kharis bersama Head of Delegation Russia Captain Navy Igor Bykov.
Adapun tujuan dari pelaksanaan FPC adalah untuk melaksanakan rapat perencanaan akhir yang merupakan latihan bilateral pertama antara dua angkatan laut yang belum pernah dilaksanakan sejak kemerdekaan Indonesia.
Ketua Delegasi TNI AL menyampaikan bahwa Orruda 2024 adalah latihan spesial bagi kedua angkatan laut yang akan menjadi sejarah besar bagi kedua negara.
"Saya percaya pertemuan ini, akan membawa ide dan wawasan berharga bagi kedua pihak serta saya juga menjamin bahwa suasana terbuka dan ramah ini akan memperkuat hubungan antara Angkatan Laut Indonesia dan Angkatan Laut Rusia," ungkap Ketua Delegasi TNI AL.

The General Electric J85-21A engines, each worth about M$50m ($15m), were spares for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s Northrop Grumman F-5E Tiger II fighters, which fly from the Butterworth air base near the country’s northern border with Thailand.
Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, defence minister, said the engines and associated equipment were “believed to have been sent to a South American country” after being moved to the Sungai Besi air force base in Kuala Lumpur for maintenance.

MESIN HILANG = The Malaysian government is facing a fresh corruption crisis after officials admitted that two US-made fighter jet engines had disappeared from an air force base after apparently being illicitly sold by military officers to a South American arms dealer.
The General Electric J85-21A engines, each worth about M$50m ($15m), were spares for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s Northrop Grumman F-5E Tiger II fighters, which fly from the Butterworth air base near the country’s northern border with Thailand.
Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, defence minister, said the engines and associated equipment were “believed to have been sent to a South American country” after being moved to the Sungai Besi air force base in Kuala Lumpur for maintenance.

BalasHapusPanglima Tentera Udara Jen Tan Sri Mohd Asghar Khan Goriman Khan berkata lawatan itu adalah untuk membincangkan mengenai perancangan memperoleh pesawat F/A-18D (Hornet) milik Tentera Udara Kuwait yang masih dalam keadaan baik dan mempunyai waktu jam operasi yang rendah berbanding pesawat Hornet TUDM sedia ada.
"TUDM masih menaruh harapan untuk memiliki pesawat pejuang F/A-18D Hornet walaupun tindakan terkini oleh negara itu yang terpaksa menyelenggara dan menaik taraf pesawat Hornet sedia ada disebabkan penghantaran pesawat pejuang F/A-18E/F (Super Hornet) dibeli oleh Kuwait berdepan kelewatan.
"Kuwait mempunyai 39 pesawat itu terdiri daripada dua dan satu tempat duduk sahaja. Jadi pada lawatan itu nanti pihak TUDM dan kerajaan Malaysia sendiri akan menentukan jumlah pesawat yang diperlukan," katanya pada sidang media di sini hari ini.
