High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) dan Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) 2024 telah resmi dibuka oleh Presiden RI, Joko Widodo, melalui upacara pembukaan yang digelar di Hotel Mulia, Nusa Dua, Bali (02/09). Presiden menegaskan pentingnya langkah nyata untuk mencapai pembangunan yang lebih adil dan inklusif, khususnya bagi negara-negara berkembang, dimana komitmen Indonesia untuk terus bermitra dengan kawasan Afrika dianggap sebagai kunci dalam agenda pembangunan global.
Hari ini (03/09), PTDI berhasil mengamankan penjualan 5 unit pesawat N219 dengan Setdco Group untuk end user Pemerintah Demokratik Republik Kongo, yang dikukuhkan dengan penandatanganan dokumen kontrak jual beli antara Direktur Utama PTDI, Gita Amperiawan dan CEO Setdco Group, Setiawan Djody, disaksikan oleh Menteri PPN RI/Bappenas, Suharso Monoarfa dan Deputi Bidang Ekonomi Bappenas, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti di BICC The Westin Bali Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali.
“Kongo akhirnya memborong pesawat made in Indonesia N219 Nurtanio sebanyak 5 unit. Pemerintah Kongo juga ingin belajar bagaimana menyusun perencanaan, bagaimana Indonesia bisa sampai seperti hari ini dan mereka kagum. Indonesia sendiri juga akan belajar ke Kongo untuk pengelolaan SDA. Pemerintah tentu membuka ruang untuk berbagi ilmu demi Pembangunan kedepan,” kata Suharso Monoarfa.
Afrika memiliki potensi besar untuk pertumbuhan pasar aviasi, dengan kebutuhan signifikan terhadap pesawat-pesawat regional yang harus mampu beroperasi di bandara-bandara dengan infrastruktur yang belum optimal, pesawat N219 produksi PTDI didesain khusus untuk penerbangan perintis di medan yang sulit, tentunya memiliki keunggulan yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Afrika.
“Kami menargetkan pesawat N219 tidak hanya untuk pasar domestik, tetapi juga untuk internasional, terutama di kawasan Asia Pasifik dan Afrika. Dengan pesawat N219, kami memberikan solusi transportasi udara yang suitable untuk memenuhi kebutuhan di beberapa wilayah di Afrika. Ini juga merupakan bagian dari komitmen kami untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi melalui peningkatan konektivitas antar wilayah,” ujar Gita Amperiawan.

U.S. COMPLETES HANDOVER OF THREE CONVERTED MARITIME SURVEILLANCE AIRCRAFT WITH RMAF....
BalasHapus27 JUNI 2024 : Kuala Lumpur: On June 27 at Subang Air Force Base, Ambassador Edgard D. Kagan joined General Asghar Khan, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, to commemorate the conversion of three Royal Malaysian Air Force transport aircraft (CN235) into Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). The conversion program, which began in 2018 and totaled approximately $60 million U.S. dollars under the Maritime Security Initiative, served as the first major U.S. security grant program in Malaysia.
The CN-235s are now enhanced with maritime surveillance radars, electro-optical infrared turrets, beyond line-of sight communications and roll-on/roll-off system operator stations. The aircraft are attached to Squadron 1 at Kuching Airbase in Sarawak.
Between 2019-2023, the U.S. provided more than $240 million in total security assistance.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Kagan said, “With all three aircraft converted and incorporated into Malaysia’s overall maritime domain awareness architecture, we know that Malaysia is better able to maintain vigilant watch over activities within its Exclusive Economic Zones, and better postured to secure the maritime environment.“
U.S-Malaysia security cooperation includes eleven bilateral and five multilateral defense exercises, the most Malaysia has with any country, which enhance Malaysian defense readiness, strengthen multinational relationships, and demonstrate U.S. resolve to support a free and open Indo-Pacific.
