TNI Angkatan Laut, Dispen Kormar (Situbondo) -- Komandan Resimen Kavaleri 2 Marinir (Danmenkav 2 Mar) Kolonel Mar La Ode Jimmy Herizal Rahman, M.Tr.Hanla., M.M., memimpin pelaksanaan uji fungsi amunisi Tank PT 76(M) jenis HESH-T (High Explosive Squash Head Tracer) kaliber 90 milimeter yang berlangsung di Puslatpur Marinir 5 Baluran, Karangtekok Sumberwaru Kec. Banyuputih Kab. Situbondo. Jumat (11/10/2024).
Pada pelaksanaan uji fungsi amunisi Tank jenis HESH-T buatan negara Belgia ini, merupakan hasil pengadaan dari PT Lentera Sumber Utama. Mekanisme pelaksanaan uji fungsi dengan menembak sasaran baja setebal 8 milimeter dengan jarak 1000 meter dan 2000 meter, sedangkan uji fuse diuji pada jarak 20 meter.
Uji fungsi melibatkan personel berkompeten di bidangnya, termasuk instrumentasi alat uji yang diawaki personel Laboratorium Induk Senjata Dinas Penelitian dan Pengembangan TNI AL (Labinsen Dislitbangal).
Sebelum pelaksanaan, Kasilabsenum Labinsen Dislitbangal Letkol Laut (E) Ali Mashudi selaku Perwira pelaksana kegiatan (Palakgiat) memaparkan tentang kesiapan pelaksanaan uji fungsi dan paparan tentang spesifikasi teknis amunisi.
Kasilabsenum Labinsen Dislitbangal mengatakan, bahwa uji amunisi HESH-T merupakan momentum penting, semoga dengan pengujian ini dapat memperkuat Alutsista TNI AL khususnya tank amfibi menambah daya tembak dan daya gempur yang tinggi.
Kegiatan tersebut ditinjau langsung oleh Inspektur Korps Marinir (Irkormar) Brigjen TNI (Mar) Tri Subandiyana, S.H., didampingi Asrena Kormar Kolonel Mar Wahyudi Saputra, S.E., M.M., Asintel Dankormar Kolonel Mar Teguh Santoso, Aslog Dankormar Kolonel Mar Akhyar Maederi, S.E., M.M., M.Han., Wadan Pasmar 2 Kolonel Mar Edy Prayitno dan Danmenkav 1 Mar Kolonel Mar Ukik Ari Nursanto, M.Tr.Hanla., M.M. serta Tim Labinsen TNI AL.
