“Pertama, kami ingin mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada Balitbang Kementerian Pertahanan yang berkomitmen melanjutkan cita-cita bersama untuk memiliki Roket Pertahanan yang dapat menjaga kedaulatan bangsa dan negara," ungkap Syaifuddin.
"Mohon doanya dari seluruh pihak, agar R-Han 450 dapat memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengujian statis tahap akhir dan dapat melewati tahap-tahap berikutnya dengan lancar, sehingga akhirnya dapat diproduksi massal oleh DAHANA,” ujar Syaifuddin di Jakarta, Senin, 16 Desember 2024.
PT DAHANA terus mengembangkan bahan peledak militer. Setelah pengembangan jenis roket R-Han 122b bersama Konsorsium Roket Nasional, kini DAHANA mengembangkan roket R-Han 450. Hal ini sejalan dengan perhatian khusus Holding DEFEND ID kepada DAHANA yang bergerak di bidang bahan berenergi tinggi untuk mengembangkan teknologi roket.
Direktur Utama PT DAHANA Syaifuddin menuturkan, di bawah kerjasama dan supervisi Balitbang Kemhan RI, DAHANA berharap Roket Ground-to-ground Rhan-450 dapat segera siap untuk diproduksi massal.
Syaifuddin juga berharap, dengan kekuatan kolaborasi dan gotong royong di antara seluruh stakeholder seperti Balitbang Kemhan RI dan BRIN, industri pertahanan dalam negeri dapat terus berkembang dan menjadi pemain penting dalam rantai pasok industri pertahanan dunia.
Sementara itu, Direktur Teknologi & Pengembangan PT DAHANA Suhendra Yusuf RPN mengatakan, R-Han 450 telah melalui beragam uji coba sejak tahun 2018 dengan uji terbang, dan uji statis pada tahun 2022 yang menunjukkan kemajuan dari segi performa. R-Han 450 memiliki panjang 7.8 meter, diameter 46 centimeter, dan bobot total mencapai 1900 kilogram.
"Roket ini juga memiliki daya jangkau hingga lebih dari 100 kilometer dengan kecepatan mencapai 4.500 km/jam," tutur Suhendra.
Selain mengembangkan Roket Pertahanan, DAHANA turut mengembangkan berbagai teknologi peledak militer lain untuk memperkuat kemandirian Alat Peralatan Pertahanan dan Keamanan (Alpalhankam) nasional, seperti pengembangan Smart Bomb untuk UAV, pengembangan produksi propelan, dan berbagai pengembangan lainnya.

PMX DS Anwar Ibrahim today announce an allocation of RM40.6 billion for the national security sector from the RM461 billion 2025 national budget. This is an increase of RM2 billion for the sector which includes Home and Defence ministries, from the 2024 budget of RM38.7 billion.
Defence got RM21.1 billion allocation, an increase of RM1.4 billion from last year, while Home will get RM19.5 billion, an increase of some RM500 million. Others have made the calculations that the Defence’s stake of the budget is 1.2 per cent of the Malonn GDP. That said most of the allocation is for salaries and other stuff and not assets.

Operational Expenditure for Defence in 2025 is RM13.363 billion while Development Expenditure is RM7.492 billion. The OE allocation is an increase of some RM1 billion while the increase in DE is around RM450 million. The highest increase in OE is for the emolument (salaries and allowances) which amounted to RM8.773 billion. It is interesting to note that the increase in DE is for services and supply (RM1.906 billion) WHILE ASSET PROCUREMENT IS DOWN TO RM5.585 BILLION, DOWN BY SOME RM250 MILLION FROM LAST YEAR

The military likely had no idea they were being used by politicians and their cronies to purchase equipment, especially those that do not meet their technical and operational specifications. Whether some of these officers were also greased along the way by the politicians is something else.
