Dispen Kormar, TNI Angkatan Laut (Surabaya) -- Menjelang Latihan Gabungan Bersama (Latgabma) Super Garuda Shield (SGS) Tahun 2024 tentang Amphibious Exercise, prajurit Korps Marinir Indonesia bersama USMC berkolaborasi melaksanakan Drill Air Assault di Base Ops Pangkalan Udara TNI AL (Lanudal) Juanda, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Sabtu (31/08/2024).
Sebelum melaksanakan drill, prajurit Korps Marinir TNI AL diperkenalkan tentang sarana angkut yang akan digunakan untuk Air Assault yaitu pesawat Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey serta dibekali materi tentang prosedur keselamatan, tata cara untuk menaiki dan turun dari Helikopter oleh Prajurit Marinir Amerika Serikat.
Komandan Batalyon Infanteri 5 Marinir Letkol Marinir Ahmad Fauzi, M.Tr.Opsla selaku Perwira Pelaksana Latihan (Palaklat) Amphibious Exercise Latgabma SGS TA.2024 menyampaikan bahwa Air Assault atau yang dikenal dengan Mobile Udara (Mobud) adalah suatu bentuk operasi dimana pasukan tempur berpindah taktis melalui udara menggunakan sarana pesawat terbang atau heli, sehingga prajurit dapat bergerak cepat, senyap dan tepat di dalam melaksanakan tugas Infiltrasi ke daerah musuh, kemudian menuju sasaran untuk dilibatkan dalam pertempuran darat.
Letkol Marinir Ahmad Fauzi, M.Tr.Opsla juga menyampaikan dilakukannya drill tersebut selain untuk mensinkronisasikan kolaborasi kedua belah pihak, juga untuk mematangkan penyiapan mulai dari fase pemuatan, pemindahan udara, pendaratan dan penyelesaian sasaran agar dalam pelaksanaan puncak Latgabma SGS Tahun 2024 dapat terlaksana dengan lancar dan aman.

JAKARTA: (Bernama-Xinhua) Indonesia has been grappling with a marked reduction in the middle class in recent years, even as the Southeast Asian country strives to reach an economic growth of 5.2 per cent in 2025, reported Xinhua.
At a recent hearing with the House of Representatives in Jakarta, the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) revealed that the middle class reached 57.33 million people, or 21.45 per cent of Indonesia's total population, in 2019, but then plummeted to 47.85 million people, or 17.13 per cent, by 2024.
"Many people have faced economic difficulties during recent crisis, leading to a decrease in their purchasing power. The middle class now faces a greater risk of falling into the vulnerable group," said acting head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti.
The decline sounded a critical alarm, as Indonesia's 2045 vision targets the middle class at 80 per cent of the population.
In the face of ongoing global economic challenges, Widyasanti said the middle class finds it increasingly difficult to move up to the upper class and is at risk of falling back into the "approaching middle class" or even "poor" categories.
Chairman of the House Budget Committee, Said Abdullah, emphasised the importance of a robust middle class, citing its vital contribution to boosting domestic consumption, tax revenue, and fostering social and economic stability, all of which are essential for economic growth.
"A decline in the middle class could also potentially reduce domestic consumption, which significantly contributes to economic growth," he said.

PEMBIAYAAN SWASTA DAN SIMULATOR KOMERSIAL 10 TAHUN = Menurutnya pusat simulasi itu dibangunkan menerusi inisiatif pembiayaan swasta (PFI) di mana HeiTech Padu Berhad dipertanggungjawabkan untuk mengurus operasi serta penyelengaraan bagi tempoh 10 tahun sehingga tahun 2020.
Beliau berkata sistem simulasi yang dibangunkan itu juga mampu melakukan pemindahan tekNOlogi ke negara-negara yang memerlukan dan ia bukan hanya khusus untuk pesawat tempur semata-mata malah boleh digunakan bagi simulasi pesawat komersial, dan menurutnya sejak dibangunkan pusat simulasi itu sudah melatih 28 juruterbang dan pegawai TUDM.
