The Royal Australian Air Force conducted air-to-air refuelling clearance trials with the United States Air Force at USAF bases Eglin and Edwards, USA.


A RAAF KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport Australia refuelled the:
-USAF F-15EX Eagle II,
-USAF F-15E Strike Eagle.


A USAF KC-46A Pegasus US refuelled the:
- RAAF E-7A Wedgetail.


Two trials occurred over March and April, each aimed at increasing the interoperability between the two nations’ militaries and expanding the list of aircraft cleared for air-to-air refuelling.

Kunjungan Kerja Danpussenkav
Danpussenkav Mayor Jendral TNI Eko Susetyo melaksanakan kunjungan kerja ke Batalyon Kavaleri 2/Turangga Ceta dalam rangka "Penyerahan Komponen CDI Tank AMX-13 pada Program Harwat Ranpur Bengpuskav TA. 2025" pada hari Kamis, 30 Oktober 2025.


Dalam kesempatan ini, Danpussenkav menerima penjelasan teknis komponen CDI dan proses perakitan Inovasi CDI pengapian Kendaraan tempur AMX-13 yang telah ditemukan dan dikembangkan oleh Sertu Hadi, anggota pemeliharaan Ranpur Yonkav 2. Pada kesempatan itu pula Danpussenkav melakukan pemeriksaan dan mencoba secara langsung, dengan mengemudikan beberapa Ranpur AMX-13 yang telah dipasang pengapian CDI.


Inovasi Sistem CDI pada AMX-13 ini merupakan langkah strategis dibidang pemeliharaan Ranpur Kavaleri, dalam menunjang mobilitas dan kesiapan tempur alutsista untuk terus dapat meningkatkan performa kendaraan tempur guna mendukung tugas pokok.

Semoga dengan adanya supervisi, arahan, dan perhatian dari pimpinan Kavaleri ini, Yonkav 2/Turangga Ceta berkomitmen untuk terus mengembangkan inovasi, menjaga profesionalisme, dan terus memperkuat kesiapan operasional guna menjawab tantangan tugas di masa depan.

Launching into the new year as we look forward to new adventures! 


We conducted the launching ceremony of our Multi Role Combat Vessel (MRCV) Victory in Nov 2025, and the ship was launched into water a few days later.

This is a complex evolution as environmental factors, such as height of tide and weather, would need to be considered for the ship to be launched safely.

TNI AL, Koarmada I, Tanjungpinang -- KRI Surik-645 unsur Satuan Kapal Cepat (Satkat) Koarmada I melaksanakan latihan peran tempur bahaya udara di Dermaga Lanal Bintan, Tanjung Uban, Rabu 31 Desember 2025. Latihan tersebut merupakan bagian dari pembinaan rutin guna menjaga kesiapan tempur dan profesionalisme prajurit dalam menghadapi potensi ancaman dari udara.


Dalam latihan tersebut, seluruh prajurit KRI Surik-645 memerankan tugas dan tanggung jawab masing-masing sesuai prosedur tetap. Fokus latihan diarahkan pada kecepatan respons, koordinasi antarsatuan, serta ketepatan tindakan dalam situasi darurat, sehingga setiap prajurit mampu bertindak sigap dan terukur.


Melalui latihan tersebut diharapkan naluri tempur dan rasa kebersamaan prajurit semakin terasah. Selain meningkatkan kemampuan teknis, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri dan soliditas awak kapal sebagai unsur pengawal kedaulatan laut yang selalu siap menjalankan tugas negara.


KRI Surik-645 adalah Kapal Cepat Rudal (KCR) produksi dalam negeri yang dimiliki Satkat Koarmada I. Kapal ini, seperi juga KRI Siwar-646 dan KRI Parang-647 KCR 40, adalah buatan dalam negeri dan dipersenjatai meriam Kaliber 20 mm, meriam 12,7 mm dan rudal C-705. Ketiga kapal ini juga diresmikan bersamaan oleh Menteri Pertahanan Prof. Dr. Purnomo Yusgiantoro pada tanggal 27 September 2014 di Batam.

Chaiseri Selected for Thai Army IFV and APC Modernization

The Defence Technology Institute (DTI), an agency under the Thai Ministry of Defence, published documents on its official website on November 14, 2025, announcing that Chaiseri Metal & Rubber Co. Ltd. of Thailand is the winner of two projects for the Royal Thai Army, the projects include:
-the construction of an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) worth 74,300,000 baht ($2,333,836) and, 
-the repair, refurbishment, enhancement, and weapon system upgrade of the M113 APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) series worth 39,900,000 baht ($1,253,357), respectively.

It is understood that the IFV for the Royal Thai Army is likely the K200 IFV development project. Hanwha Aerospace signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Thai Defense Industry Co., Ltd. (TDI) in early February 202.

TDI Thailand is a joint venture between DTI Thailand and Chaiseri Thailand, with the objective of supporting private sector arms exports to foreign countries through government-to-government agreements. They have a significant export track record, such as the 100 Hisaar 4x4 MRAP wheeled armored vehicles for the Pakistan Army (PA).

It is understood that Chaiseri Thailand is likely developing a prototype IFV (Integrated Combat Vehicle) for the Royal Thai Army in cooperation with DTI Thailand, but further details are not yet available. Meanwhile, the M113 Armored Personnel Carrier Servants modernization project aims to extend the lifespan, enhance capabilities, and upgrade the weapon systems of the vehicles currently in service with the Royal Thai Army, an area in which Chaiseri Thailand has expertise.

Currently, the Royal Thai Army has approximately 450 M113 armored vehicle (AM) of various models in service, which have been in service since around 1967. They are deployed in armored cavalry battalions, tracked cavalry reconnaissance battalions, and armored companies of infantry regiments. The newest M113A3 AM, acquired in 1997, is the main force of the 12th Infantry Regiment, Royal Guard, 2nd Infantry Division, Royal Guard.

Hanwha Systems Menangkan Kontrak Pasokan Combat Management Systems (CMS0 Senilai 40 Miliar Won dari Angkatan Laut Filipina

SEOUL (Yonhap) -- Hanwha Systems Co., unit solusi pertahanan dari Hanwha Group Korea Selatan, mengatakan pada hari Rabu bahwa mereka telah memenangkan kontrak senilai 40 miliar won (US$27,7 juta) untuk memasok combat management systems (CMS) canggih kepada Angkatan Laut Filipina, menandai kesepakatan kelima dengan negara Asia Tenggara tersebut.

Berdasarkan kesepakatan tersebut, Hanwha Systems akan menyediakan CMS dan tactical data links (TDL) untuk dua fregat generasi berikutnya Angkatan Laut Filipina dengan bobot 3.200 ton.

CMS berfungsi sebagai otak kapal dan dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan semua peralatan, seperti sensor, senjata, dan sistem komunikasi, ke dalam satu sistem tunggal untuk membantu menangkal ancaman secara lebih efisien. TDL memungkinkan unit angkatan laut untuk berbagi informasi taktis secara real-time.

Hanwha Systems mengatakan peralatan tersebut akan disesuaikan dengan lingkungan operasional Filipina, yang membentang di lebih dari 7.600 pulau.

Kesepakatan terbaru ini menambah kontrak pasokan sistem Hanwha Systems dengan Angkatan Laut Filipina sejak tahun 2017.

Hanwha Systems menyatakan telah mengembangkan CMS sepenuhnya dengan teknologi milik sendiri dan telah memasoknya ke berbagai kapal permukaan dan kapal selam yang digunakan oleh Angkatan Laut Korea Selatan.

Progress of the Royal Thai Navy's Submarine Procurement Project

The Royal Thai Navy wishes to inform the public that from December 9-19, 2025, Admiral Nares Wongtrakul, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy and Chairman of the Submarine Procurement Project Executive Committee, along with his delegation, was assigned by Admiral Pairoj Fuengchan, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, to travel to the People's Republic of China to monitor the progress of the submarine procurement project and discuss military cooperation with relevant agencies.

The delegation visited the Shanghai Marine Diesel Engine Research Institute (SMDERI) in Shanghai, an agency that designs and researches submarine and surface ship propulsion systems. They received a presentation on technology from representatives of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and the Air-Independent Propulsion (AIP) Institute, reflecting the technological readiness of the manufacturers.


Subsequently, on December 12, 2025, the delegation traveled to Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. (WSIG) in Wuhan to monitor the progress of the construction of the S26T submarine. Confirmation of the operational plan and quality control was received. The delegation also received a briefing on the project's timeline from senior executives of China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and WSIG.

In addition, the delegation visited the Royal Thai Navy Engineering University in Wuhan, a leading institution for submarine personnel development. They observed demonstrations of submarine escape training, surface ship damage control training, submarine simulation training systems, and various course instruction. The university demonstrated its readiness to accommodate Royal Thai Navy personnel for training according to international standards.

The Royal Thai Navy affirmed that the submarine procurement project is a crucial national security project, being conducted with prudence, transparency, and prioritizing national interests. This progress monitoring reflects the Royal Thai Navy's commitment to pushing the project forward according to plan, in order to strengthen national defense capabilities and sustainably safeguard national maritime interests.
