GD's PMV-L solution for Land 121/4

The General Dynamics Land 121 Phase 4 solution, based on the Eagle, is a mature PMV-L design derived from DURO chassis technology and is in service with coalition forces in Afghanistan.

Eagle will be evolved to meet the MSIA PMV-L requirement while continuing to offer the proven mobility, survivability and reliability of the vehicles.

The Eagle's high ground clearance and a lower ground pressure will provide the ADF with excellent mobility which, in combination with their tested citadel approach to survivability, will ensure superior levels of crew safety.

General Dynamics Land Systems - Australia says it is working in partnership with GD Land Systems Europe MOWAG and has adopted a combined management approach, to provide the ADF with a combination of a low technical risk vehicle that will be manufactured and supported in Australia with the advantage of assured in-theatre mission system performance, all of which is ITAR free.

This turnkey approach aims to significantly reduce the DMO overall delivery risk.
