MANILA (PNA) -- In line with efforts to ensure that all of its available aircraft are mission-worthy and flyable at all times, the Philippine Air Force (PAF) announced that it has allocated the sum of Php7,333,482.35 for the acquisition of services needed for the maintenance and repair of one of its three SIAI-Marchetti S-211 jet trainers.
Pre-bid conference is slated on May 20 at 9 a.m. at thePAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
Bid opening is on June 2, 9 a.m., at the same venue.
The S-211 is one of PAF's two jet-powered aircraft after the Korea Aerospace Industries FA-50PH "Fighting Eagle."It is primarily used for air-to-ground and surveillance missions.
