Indonesian Pilots Complete Their Training

The Indonesian pilots have just completed their four-month training program with the Rafale Conversion Squadron (ETR) 3/4 “Aquitaine” at Air Base 113 Saint-Dizier.

Selected for their extensive operational experience, they demonstrated “a remarkable ability to adapt, showing a high level of mastery from the very first stages,” according to an ETR instructor.

The program was based on progressive training combining real flights and simulator sessions.

Starting in February, they will continue their aeronautical activities in Indonesia, where they will play a crucial role:

-training the next generation of Indonesian pilots;

-supporting the optimal operation of the Rafale, both in flight and from an organizational standpoint.

“We express our deep gratitude to all the teams and stakeholders who contributed to the smooth running and success of this training, particularly Air Base 113 and especially the ETR (Air Training Center). The presence of this aircraft will undoubtedly allow the Indonesian Air Force to reach a higher level,” the pilots stated.
