Airbus Military has won the first contract for its A400M strategic transport aircraft in Asia with Malaysia signing a MYR2.8 billion (USD742 million) contract for four aircraft on 8 December.
Composite Technology Research Malaysia will undertake two development programmes with a value of MYR907 million as part of work share related to the contract. Additional international orders for the aircraft would result in more work.
