Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pemerintah Indonesia sedang menyelidiki tuduhan Korea Selatan tentang keterlibatan seorang insinyur Indonesia dalam pencurian data informasi teknologi jet tempur KF-21 Boramae.
Menurut Juru Bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri RI Lalu Muhamad Iqbal pada Jumat, KBRI Seoul telah berkomunikasi dengan Kementerian Luar Negeri Korea dan institusi terkait di Korea guna mendalami lebih jauh kasus tersebut.
“KBRI Seoul juga telah berkomunikasi langsung dengan insinyur Indonesia itu dan memastikan bahwa dia saat ini tidak ditahan,” kata Iqbal melalui pesan singkat.
Dia menjelaskan para teknisi Indonesia telah terlibat dalam proyek bersama pengembangan jet tempur Indonesia-Korsel tersebut sejak 2016, dan telah memahami prosedur kerja serta aturan yang berlaku.
“Proyek KF-21 adalah proyek strategis bagi Indonesia maupun Korea Selatan. Kedua negara akan mengelola berbagai masalah yang muncul dalam kerja sama ini sebaik mungkin,” tutur Iqbal.
Sebelumnya, Badan Administrasi Program Akuisisi Pertahanan (DAPA) Korsel menuduh dua insinyur Indonesia mencoba mencuri data informasi teknologi jet tempur KF-21.
Dua teknisi yang dikirim dari Indonesia untuk mengerjakan proyek pengembangan jet tempur di Korea Aerospace Industry (KAI) itu sedang menjalani penyelidikan dan dilarang meninggalkan Korea.
Pihak berwenang Korsel menyatakan menangkap dua insinyur Indonesia itu pada Januari 2024, setelah mereka kedapatan berusaha mengambil file terkait proyek yang disimpan di drive USB.
Salah satu pejabat DAPA mengatakan penyelidikan berfokus pada identifikasi dokumen spesifik yang coba dicuri para pakar dari Indonesia tersebut.
Dia juga mengatakan USB itu berisi dokumen umum, bukan data-data yang terkait teknologi strategis yang berpotensi melanggar undang-undang rahasia militer atau perlindungan industri pertahanan.
KF-21 merupakan proyek bersama Indonesia-Korsel yang bernilai senilai 8 miliar dolar AS atau sekitar Rp121,35 triliun. Melalui kerja sama tersebut, kedua negara akan memproduksi 120 unit jet tempur untuk Korea dan 48 jet tempur untuk Indonesia.
Tidak hanya itu, Indonesia juga mendapat transfer teknologi yang akan mendorong industri pertahanan dalam negeri dalam produksi pesawat KF-21 untuk pasar global.
Sesuai kesepakatan awal pada 2014, Indonesia dibebankan 20 persen dari total biaya pengembangan pesawat tempur itu. Namun, dalam perkembangannya, Indonesia masih menunggak pembayaran karena keterbatasan APBN.

Protocol Breach itu semacam istilah buat nyebut kesalahan kerja sesuai dengan protokol, kayak semisal kesalahan dalam mengunduh dokumen. Dalam kasus ini, Protocol Breach nya ini terjadi karna si pelaku ngecopy data pake USB, yang dimana hal tersebut dilarang oleh perusahaan-perusahaan besar. Alasannya? Ya karna USB sendiri kadang bisa munculin malware.
Jadi untuk saat ini, alih-alih Indonesia kena masalah karena skandal pencurian data, ini lebih diakibatkan oleh kelalaian SOP (aturan kerja) si pelaku karena sembarangan make USB.
