DTI Unveils its DTI-2 Rocket on Type YW306

 DTI demonstrates the 122 mm DTI-2 rocket on board Type YW306.

RTA currently operates six Type YW306 - the Chinese-made Type-85 APC with 130 mm MLRS - in the artillery division. After the procurement of 4 SR4 and additional 2 systems from China.


 RTA tasked DTI to develop the indigenous 122 mm rocket to be used on the system. RTA also order the upgrade of Type YW306 that seen shorter-range 130 mm replaced by 40-km DTI-2 with the electric launcher.

      Tidak semua hasil riset bisa maju ke dapur produksi. Hasil riset pun pada dasarnya tidak ada yg gagal, krn data dari (kegagalan) riset itu berguna utk mendevelop barang baru yg lebih baik.

      udah ada oncom, pindad buat purwarupa mlrs sasis roda rantai, roketnya R-Han 122mm, dipajang di Indo Defense 2014..
