Delegasi TNI Angkatan Udara yang dipimpin oleh Kepala Staf Angkatan Udara (Kasau), Marsekal TNI M. Tonny Harjono, S.E., M.M., mengunjungi Safran Aircraft Engines, Moissy Cramayel, Rabu (26/6/24). Kunjungan dilakukan untuk menghadiri presentasi korporat mengenai mesin pesawat tempur Rafale.
Dalam kunjungan ini, delegasi TNI Angkatan Udara mendapatkan penjelasan mendetail mengenai teknologi dan kapabilitas mesin Rafale yang diproduksi oleh Safran Aircraft Engines.
Sesuai dengan kesepakatan yang telah dicapai sebelumnya, TNI AU akan menerima sebanyak 42 unit pesawat tempur Rafale dari Dassault Aviation. Kunjungan sangat penting untuk memperkuat pemahaman teknis tentang komponen pesawat Rafale yang diproduksi Safran Aircracht Engines.
Kunjungan ini juga mencerminkan komitmen TNI Angkatan Udara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tempur dan operasional melalui pengadaan alutsista yang modern dan andal. Diharapkan, pengadaan pesawat tempur Rafale akan semakin memperkuat pertahanan udara Indonesia dan meningkatkan kesiapan TNI AU dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan di masa depan.
