Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR RI yang juga Sekjen DPP Demokrat Teuku Riefky Harsya meminta pemerintah mendukung penambahan anggaran, terutama bagi Pusat Kesenjataan Kavaleri (Pussenkav) dan Pusat Pendidikan Kavaleri (Pusdikkav) TNI-AD.
Menurutnya, memasuki abad 21 ini, Korps Kavaleri TNI-AD harus sanggup mengintegrasikan kemajuan teknologi sebagai alat serang, terutama di udara dan darat.
“Kita berharap Pemerintah hari ini maupun Pemerintah ke depan, juga terus mendukung Pussenkav dan Pusdikkav agar peralatan kita bisa semakin baik, semakin canggih dan selalu siap untuk pertempuran di zaman modern ini,” ujarnya usai kunjungan spesifik Komisi I DPR RI ke Pusdikkav Padalarang, Bandung, Jawa Barat, ditulis Rabu (12/6/2024).
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Pussenkav dan Pusdikkav menyampaikan kendala yang mereka hadapi saat ini, antara lain keterbatasan alat-alat utama sistem persenjataan, sarana prasarana, logistik, dan anggaran kerja.
“Kami dari Komisi I tentu melihat masih banyak dukungan yang diperlukan oleh Pussenkav maupun Pusdikkav sebagai garda terdepan untuk Kavaleri kita dan juga untuk maintenance alat-alat tempur kita. Hal ini di zaman perang modern ini tentu tidak boleh diabaikan,” tuturnya.
DPR Komisi I berkomitmen menyuarakan masukan dan kendala dari Pussenkav dan Pusdikkav ini pada Rapat Kerja berikutnya bersama Menteri Pertahanan maupun Panglima TNI. Ini agar Pussenkav dan Pusdikkav mendapat dukungan tambahan anggaran untuk pengembangan perang modern.
“Tentu kami akan menyuarakan masukan, paparan dan juga temuan lapangan yang kami lihat pada hari ini. Kami akan sampaikan pada saat Raker nanti dengan Menhan maupun dengan Panglima TNI,” pungkas politisi yang berhasil lolos lagi ke Senayan, untuk keempat kalinya ini.

We can’t buy from the Russians [assuming they can fulfil the order in the first place] and HAL can’t supply everything we need. China? It too can’t supply all we need. Dikutip Zonajakarta.com dari artikel terbitan Airtimes edisi 9 Januari 2024 yang berjudul "Contohi PT Pindad Indonesia jadi Gergasi Pertahanan Tembusi Pasaran Global", kolumnis sekaligus pakar militer serta pertahanan Malaysia, Zaki Salleh menyuruh negaranya meniru kesuksesan PT Pindad.
Zaki Salleh awalnya memuji keberhasilan PT Pindad yang bekerja sama dengan Turki untuk memproduksi tank Harimau.Pengembangan Harimau bukan sekedar program satu hari atau dua hari atau copy paste, melainkan memobilisasi tenaga teknik lokal PT Pindad selama delapan tahun terakhir.Tank berbobot 30 ton ini juga telah dikonfirmasi oleh Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI-AD) dan akan masuk inventaris republik.
Hal ini juga merupakan bagian dari keberhasilan yang telah dirintis oleh PT Pindad sebagai perusahaan pelindung peralatan infrastruktur darat unggulan di Indonesia," tulisnya di Airtimes Malaysia.
Anoa 6x6, Komodo 6x6 dan Maung yang merupakan karya PT Pindad juga membuat kagum pakar militer Malaysia tersebut.Kesuksesan PT Pindad memproduksi senapan SS2-V1 menambah kekaguman pengamat militer Malaysia.

TAIS Shipyards secured a contract for two 65 m LPCs for TNI-AL Turkish Private TAIS Shipyards will construct two Large Patrol Crafts, LPC-65, for the Indonesian Navy (TNI-AL). Even though it is named patrol craft, the vessel will feature a 76mm gun, a dual 35mm gun turret, two 12.7mm STAMP remote weapon stations (RWS), and a Roketsan ASW rocket launcher. The vessel may have eight ATMACA anti-ship missiles (AShMs) or prefer French Exocets.

2024 LMS STILL BE FINALISING THE TECHNICAL DETAILS OF THE SHIPS
Three of the ships will be built in Turkiye under the LOA according to the release though it did not identify the shipyards to build them. Defence Minister DS Khaled Nordin was present at the LOA handing over ceremony so it is likely the ministry will issue – a less detailed press release on it. Do note that even if the LOA is issued, they could still be finalising the technical details of the ships.
