Tradisi Penerimaan Tank Harimau Yonkav 5/DPC

Karang Endah -- Berlokasi di Markas Batalyon Kavaleri 5/DPC, Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan, Komandan Batalyon Kavaleri 5/DPC, Mayor Kav Sahid Winagiri memimpin langsung jalannya acara tradisi corps penerimaan 6 unit Tank Harimau, (Selasa, 29/07/2025)

Dalam sambutan Pangdam II Sriwijaya, Mayjen TNI Ujang Darwis yang dibacakan oleh Danyonkav 5/DPC, mengucapkan selamat atas kedatangan 6 unit ranpur Tank Harimau di satuan Yonkav 5/DPC. "Hal ini merupakan bentuk upaya dalam modernisasi kekuatan tempur serta meningkatkan kesiapan satuan Kavaleri dalam menghadapi tantangan tugas ke depan" ujar Pangdam II Sriwijaya dalam sambutannya.

Lebih lanjut, Pangdam II Sriwijaya juga berharap, prajurit Yonkav 5/DPC bisa memanfaatkan kesempatan ini untuk belajar dan berlatih serta mengenal lebih dalam tentang karakteristik Tank Harimau.

Usai rangkaian acara tradisi, Danyonkav 5/DPC berkesempatan memberikan jam komandan kepada seluruh prajurit dan ibu Persit Yonkav 5/DPC. Dalam jam komandannya, Danyonkav 5/DPC mengungkapkan rasa syukur yang luar biasa atas terselenggaranya acara tradisi penerimaan ranpur Tank Harimau.

"Moment ini merupakan perjalanan sejarah bagi satuan kita tercinta, Yonkav 5/DPC, dan kita semua yang hadir disini akan menjadi saksi dari perjalanan tersebut", tegas Mayor Kav Sahid.

Di akhir jam komandannya, Danyonkav 5/DPC juga berkesempatan memberikan penghargaan Sera Muhammad Jamalludin setelah berhasil menjadi juara kedua dalam event kejuaraan Karate piala Ketua DPRD Sumsel, minggu lalu.

Selain kepada Serda Muhammad Jamalludin, Danyonkav 5/DPC juga memberikan penghargaan kepada Serma purnawirawan Murtijo untuk bisa berangkat melaksanakan Umroh ke

BELUM KONTRAK AKTIF ATMACA
Menurut laporan yang tersedia hingga Juni–Juli 2025, Malaysia BELUM memiliki kontrak aktif untuk pengadaan rudal Atmaca. Yang memang telah terjadi adalah:
• Pada 10 Juni 2024, Malaysia menandatangani Letter of Acceptance (LoA) untuk proyek Littoral Mission Ship Batch II (LMS II) dengan Turki, dan Atmaca disebut sebagai salah satu sistem rudal yang kemungkinan besar akan dipasang pada kapal tersebut. Memang dalam perancangan TUDM untuk membeli helikopter baharu, namun dengan mengambil kira situasi semasa termasuk ancaman pandemik, perolehan secara SEWAan menggunakan konsep Government Operate, Company Own and Maintain (GOCOM) adalah lebih efektif buat masa ini.
Mungkin ada yang tertanya-tanya, namun kaedah penyewaan ini bukanlah kali pertama dilakukan. Kerajaan sebelum ini pernah menyewa Helikopter Latihan Airbus EC120B dan Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) Untuk Kegunaan Kursus Asas Juruterbang Helikopter TUDM.
Selain itu, kerajaan turut pernah menyewa 5 unit Helikopter EC120B; 1 unit Sistem Simulator dan SEWAan Bot Op Pasir merangkumi 10 unit Fast Interceptor Boat (FIB); 10 unit Utility Boat; 10 unit Rigid Hull Fender Boat (RHFB); 10 unit Rover Fiber Glass (Rover).
Melalui kaedah SEWAan ini, tempoh masa untuk melaksanakan proses perolehan termasuk berkaitan tender serta pembinaan aset dapat dikurangkan.

Setakat ini, Indonesia telah menunjukkan pendekatan yang lebih agresif dan menyeluruh. Selain pembelian 48 pesawat KAAN dari Turki, republik itu turut memeterai kontrak pembelian 42 pesawat Rafale dari Perancis dengan penghantaran pertama dijangka bermula pada 2026.
Indonesia juga menandatangani perolehan 2 kapal selam Scorpene Evolved varian terkini daripada Naval Group Perancis, yang dijadualkan siap dalam tempoh 7 tahun .
Selain itu, Indonesia sedang menunggu ketibaan dua pesawat pengangkut A400M, 60 buah UAV ringan Bayraktar TB3, beberapa unit UCAV Bayraktar TB2, 9 Bayraktar Akinci dan 12 UAV TAI Anka kategori MALE.

MALONDESH has reportedly sought the Kuwaiti jets since at least 2017. The legacy Hornet is thought to “increase the level of preparedness and capability of the RMAF in safeguarding the country’s airspace”. While the acquisition of the second-hand Hornets would help to complement the RMAF’s fleet of Hornets, they come with their own set of challenges. A more strategic approach would be expanding the successful Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme or accelerating the MRCA programme to future-proof RMAF against threats (the latter has been delayed for various reasons). The MALONDESH Ministry of Defence had submitted no less than three letters to the Kuwaiti government over the past few years in a bid to acquire the fighters. However, the discussions were stymied by political imbroglios in the Kuwaiti government.
However, the transfer of the US-made fighters to MALONDESH will require Washington’s approval. Noticeably, MALONDESH has not been the only one eyeing the Kuwaiti Hornets. Reportedly, Tunisia and the US Marine Corps have also voiced interest in acquiring the jets.
Kuwait operates 39 F/A-18C/D Hornets, which were delivered between January 1992 and August 1993. The Gulf state’s air force is in the process of upgrading its combat airpower by procuring Super Hornet and Typhoon fighters. However, the delivery of these aircraft has been delayed due to Covid-19 and supply chain hurdles. This has forced Kuwait to keep its legacy Hornets longer than originally planned.

Dalam unggahannya tersebut, TUSAS juga mengunggah foto-foto penandatanganan perjanjian di mana dari Indonesia terlihat CEO Republikorp Norman Joesoef, Dirut PTDI Gita Amperiawan, dan pejabat dari Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia.
Sebelumnya, dalam kunjungannya ke Turkiye beberapa waktu lalu, Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto menegaskan bahwa Indonesia akan berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan jet tempur generasi kelima Turkiye, KAAN.
Setelah itu, Presiden Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan mengumumkan bahwa Indonesia berkomitmen akan membeli 48 unit jet tempur KAAN senilai kurang lebih 10 miliar USD.

MALONDESH has reportedly sought the Kuwaiti jets since at least 2017. The legacy Hornet is thought to “increase the level of preparedness and capability of the RMAF in safeguarding the country’s airspace”. While the acquisition of the second-hand Hornets would help to complement the RMAF’s fleet of Hornets, they come with their own set of challenges. A more strategic approach would be expanding the successful Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) programme or accelerating the MRCA programme to future-proof RMAF against threats (the latter has been delayed for various reasons). The MALONDESH Ministry of Defence had submitted no less than three letters to the Kuwaiti government over the past few years in a bid to acquire the fighters. However, the discussions were stymied by political imbroglios in the Kuwaiti government.
However, the transfer of the US-made fighters to MALONDESH will require Washington’s approval. Noticeably, MALONDESH has not been the only one eyeing the Kuwaiti Hornets. Reportedly, Tunisia and the US Marine Corps have also voiced interest in acquiring the jets.
Kuwait operates 39 F/A-18C/D Hornets, which were delivered between January 1992 and August 1993. The Gulf state’s air force is in the process of upgrading its combat airpower by procuring Super Hornet and Typhoon fighters. However, the delivery of these aircraft has been delayed due to Covid-19 and supply chain hurdles. This has forced Kuwait to keep its legacy Hornets longer than originally planned.
