Alpha Jet of the Royal Thai Air Force (photo : Airliners)The German Ministry of Defence has confirmed the sale of 25 ex-German Air Force AlphaJet advanced trainer aircraft to Thailand at a unit price of DM 50,000 ($27,000). Thailand originally wanted to buy 50 aircraft, but the plan provoked controversy within the Royal Thai Air Force.
