Sepanggar - Eksesais Bilateral Malaysia-Indonesia Siri 27AB/24 (MALINDO JAYA 27AB/24) di antara Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) bersama Tentera Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL) telah dilaksanakan mulai 23 hingga 29 Jun 2024 di Pangkalan TLDM Kota Kinabalu, Sabah dan sekitar perairan Laut China Selatan.
Sepanjang eksesais ini berlangsung, pelbagai siri latihan di pangkalan telah dilaksanakan diantaranya adalah Table Top Exercise dan Perbincangan Pegawai Operasi. Latihan di laut pula merangkumi pelbagai aspek peperangan konvensional dan juga keselamatan maritim.
Terdahulu, eksesais telah dirasmikan oleh Panglima Armada Timur, Yang Berbahagia Laksamana Madya Datuk Hj Muhammad Ruzelme bin Hj Ahmad Fahimy dan disaksikan oleh Kepala Staf Komando Armada II (KASKOARMADA II), Laksamana Pertama Isswarto TNI-AL pada 24 Jun 2024 manakala upacara penutup telah disempurnakan oleh Wakil Direktor Latihan pada 29 Jun 2024.
Selain daripada aktiviti-aktiviti eksesais, kedua-dua angkatan laut juga telah mengukuhkan ukhwah melalui aktiviti sukan dan sosial. Aktiviti sosial yang telah dilaksanakan adalah Majlis Makan Malam Rasmi MALINDO anjuran TLDM dan Majlis Resepsi anjuran TNI-AL.
Eksesais MALINDO JAYA 27AB/24 telah berjaya mengeratkan hubungan silaturahim serta meningkatkan kerjasama dan interoperabiliti TLDM dan TNI-AL.
TLDM merakamkan jutaan terima kasih kepada pihak TNI-AL di atas kerjasama serta komitmen yang dipamerkan bagi menjayakan eksesais.

2024 LMS = THEY COULD STILL BE FINALISING THE TECHNICAL DETAILS OF THE SHIPS
Three of the ships will be built in Turkiye under the LOA according to the release though it did not identify the shipyards to build them. Defence Minister DS Khaled Nordin was present at the LOA handing over ceremony so it is likely the ministry will issue – a less detailed press release on it. Do note that even if the LOA is issued, they could still be finalising the technical details of the ships.

Wow!!! really??? After visiting Pag-asa Island (Thitu Island), it appears that China's largest coast guard, CCG 5901, has been deployed in the Malaysian Maritime Zone near Luconia Shoals.
After an extensive search of the surrounding area, three Chinese Coast Guards had actually entered the Malaysian Maritime Zone, led by CCG 5901, CCG 5302, and CCG 5101. Typically, they do not transmit their AIS. However, they have been shadowed by Malaysian enforcement ships.

LACK OF MAINTENANCE LYNX = It appears that the RMN Super Lynx fleet is down to four helicopters only. They are being used for operational and training duties.
