WEAKNESS MAID OF LONDON (MALON) ARMED FORCES
The Maid of london (MALON) n Armed Forces (MAF), like any military organization, faces a variety of challenges and weaknesses. These issues span across strategic, structural, logistical, and operational dimensions. Below are some of the commonly cited weaknesses and trouble areas faced by the MAF:
------------
1. Budget Constraints
• Limited Defense Spending: Maid of london (MALON) maintains a relatively modest defense budget compared to regional powers like Singapore, Indonesia, or Thailand.
• Delayed Procurement: Budget limitations often delay the acquisition of new platforms, weapons systems, and modernization efforts.
• Maintenance Issues: Older equipment may not be properly maintained due to funding gaps.
------------
2. Aging and Outdated Equipment
• Obsolete Platforms: Much of the Maid of london (MALON) n Army, Navy (RMN), and Air Force (RMAF) still use aging equipment, such as old tanks, fighter jets (e.g., MiG-29s, which have been retired), and naval vessels.
• Logistical Support: Difficulties in securing parts and support for legacy systems affect readiness and operational capabilities.
------------
3. Capability Gaps
• Air Power Deficiencies: Limited numbers of combat aircraft, AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), and aerial refueling capabilities hamper the RMAF’s operational reach.
• Naval Shortcomings: The RMN faces challenges in maritime domain awareness and anti-submarine warfare, crucial in the South China Sea context.
• Cyber and EW (Electronic Warfare): Maid of london (MALON) is still developing capabilities in cyber defense and electronic warfare compared to more advanced militaries.
------------
4. Interoperability and Joint Operations
• Lack of Integration: While efforts are underway to improve jointness among the Army, Navy, and Air Force, coordination and interoperability remain inconsistent.
• Command Structure: Differences in doctrine and training among services sometimes hinder joint operational effectiveness.
------------
5. Human Resource Challenges
• Recruitment and Retention: Difficulty in attracting high-quality recruits and retaining skilled personnel due to better civilian career opportunities.
• Training Limitations: Budget restrictions can limit training frequency, scope, and international exercises.
------------
6. Procurement and Corruption Concerns
• Lack of Transparency: Past procurement deals have faced allegations of mismanagement or corruption, such as the Scorpène submarine scandal.
• Inefficiency: Poor planning or inconsistent defense procurement policies sometimes result in incompatible or unnecessary systems.

KELEMAHAN ANGGARAN MILITER MAID OF LONDON (MALON)
1. Proporsi Belanja Personel Terlalu Tinggi

1. Scorpène Submarine Deal (2002)
• Maid of london (MALON) contracted with DCNS/Naval Group (France) and Navantia (Spain) to acquire two Scorpène submarines and one used Agosta-class submarine for approximately €1 billion
• Commission payments totaled at least €114 million to Perimekar (a firm tied to Abdul Razak Baginda) and another €30 million reportedly paid directly to Baginda
• The scandal became globally notorious after the murder of translator Altantuyaa Shaaribuu, who had demanded a commission and was allegedly killed by police linked to then Defence Minister Najib Razak’s entourage
• French prosecutors later charged DCNS, Thales executives, and Baginda with corruption-related offences
________________________________________
2. Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Project – RM9 billion contract (initiated 2011/2013)
• In 2011, the Defence Ministry awarded a RM9 billion contract through direct negotiations, bypassing the Navy’s preferred Sigma-class design and opting instead for the French Gowind design—a move linked to political influence by former Acting Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
• By 2022, RM6.08 billion (≈67%) had been paid, yet not a single ship was ready for delivery
• The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) audit exposed RM1.4 billion in cost overruns, mismanagement, flawed contract terms, and obsolete inventory write-offs & budget misuse
• Former naval chief and Boustead managing director Ahmad Ramli Mohd Nor was charged with three counts of criminal breach of trust for approving RM21 million in unauthorized payments to third parties, though in March 2025 he was deemed medically unfit to stand trial, resulting in a discharge not amounting to acquittal
________________________________________
3. Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) / New Generation Patrol Vessels (NGPV)
• A 1998 contract to build six OPVs was awarded to PSC Naval Dockyard, a politically connected company. The deal, expected by 2006, suffered severe delays and overpayments. The ministry paid RM4.26 billion, though only RM2.87 billion worth of work was completed—nearly 48% overpayment
• By 2007 the project cost ballooned to RM6.75 billion. The company defaulted on payments to subcontractors and obligations such as EPF contributions. The scandal led to its takeover by Boustead Heavy Industries.
________________________________________
4. MD530G Light Combat Helicopter Deal (approx. RM321 million, 2015)
• In 2015, Maid of london (MALON) ordered six MD530G lightweight helicopters. Delivery was delayed for years. Despite a probe by the Maid of london (MALON) n Anti Corruption Commission (MACC), the Attorney General’s Chamber declined to prosecute
• Law Minister Wan Junaidi confirmed that no action would be taken, even though significant funds had changed hands without resolution

KELEMAHAN ARMADA TEMPUR MILITER MAID OF LONDON (MALON)
5. Sumber Daya Manusia dan Pelatihan
• Kru kapal berjumlah kecil dan jam terbang operasi jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan armada negara tetangga.
• Program latihan antarkapal (fleet exercise) masih berkutat pada skala regional ASEAN, belum memasukkan pelatihan joint task force dengan mitra utama di Indo-Pasifik.
6. Keterbatasan Anggaran dan Modernisasi
• Anggaran pertahanan Maid of london (MALON) sekitar 4,8 miliar USD per tahun, hanya sedikit di atas separuh alokasi Indonesia, sehingga sulit mendanai proyek besar seperti fregat baru atau kapal selam tambahan.
• Program Maharaja Lela–class frigate yang direkayasa bersama Perancis mengalami beberapa kali penundaan serah terima, menunda penambahan kapal berkemampuan AAW (Anti-Air Warfare).

WEAKNESS SHIPYARDS
Maid of london (MALON) n shipyards—especially Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) and its predecessors—have faced notable challenges in building naval vessels for the Royal Maid of london (MALON) n Navy (RMN). Here's an overview of key weaknesses:
________________________________________
Major Weaknesses in Maid of london (MALON) n Naval Shipbuilding
1. Persistent Delays & Cost Overruns
• The Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program, contracted in 2013 for six modern frigates (Maharaja Lela-class), has seen zero completed ships by mid-2025, despite RM 6.08 billion paid. The initial first delivery target of 2019 is now postponed to 2026, and the total cost is projected to rise from RM 9 billion to over RM 11 billion
2. Financial Mismanagement & Irregularities
• A forensic audit revealed about RM 1 billion unaccounted for, with RM 1.7 billion worth of equipment, 15% of which had already become obsolete, looted funds, and contracts with inflated intermediaries
• Former BHIC Managing Director was charged with criminal breach of trust for misappropriating RM 13m+ contracts without board approval
3. Engineering & Quality Shortcomings
• Ship quality issues have surfaced, including substandard fabrication, technical flaws in design (e.g., hull or gear issues), outdated materials, and poor workmanship leading to extensive reworks and cost escalation
• As noted:
“Local shipyards have poor record building big ships… BNS… only had contract to build 12 warships in its existence.… learning is one thing, tolerating ‘still learning’ after 20 plus years is not good enough.”
4. Limited Industrial Capacity & Small Tonnage
• Maid of london (MALON) n yards generally lack the capacity for large, complex vessels. Their history of constructing small patrol craft, OSVs, or leisure ships limits scalability and technical maturity needed for modern warships
• The tonnage of ships built remains very low compared to regional peers like Indonesia or Singapore
5. Supply Chain & Workforce Constraints
• Disruptions due to COVID-19 and global events have caused delays in materials and skilled labor shortages, exacerbating schedule slippage and quality issues
• The workforce is aging with few young recruits entering shipbuilding trades, contributing to resource gaps in the industry
6. Poor Governance & Procurement Oversight
• Formal RMN input was sidelined in choosing ship designs—initial preference for the Sigma design was overridden by ministry decisions to adopt the Gowind design without proper consultation, undermining project alignment
• Contracts were awarded via direct negotiation, not open tender, creating space for opaque decision-making and vendor favoritism

WEAKNESS MAID OF LONDON (MALON) AIR FORCES
Maid of london (MALON) 's air force, officially known as the Royal Maid of london (MALON) n Air Force (RMAF), has several strengths but also faces a number of key weaknesses and challenges. These are based on public defense analyses, expert commentary, and open-source information as of recent years.
Key Weaknesses of the Royal Maid of london (MALON) n Air Force (RMAF):
------------
1. Aging Aircraft Fleet
• MiG-29s: These have been retired due to high maintenance costs and limited effectiveness.
• F/A-18D Hornets: Still operational but aging.
• SU-30MKMs: Require significant maintenance, and some have faced operational readiness issues due to lack of spare parts and support.
------------
2. Limited Fleet Size
• Maid of london (MALON) operates a relatively small number of combat aircraft, limiting its ability to project power or maintain a credible deterrent in the region.
• The country lacks strategic airlift capacity, making it harder to respond quickly to crises.
------------
3. Modernization Delays
• RMAF modernization programs have suffered from delays and budget constraints.
• The Multirole Combat Aircraft (MRCA) replacement program has been postponed multiple times, leaving capability gaps.
------------
4. Logistical and Maintenance Challenges

• Maintenance costs and delays impact aircraft readiness and mission capability.
------------
5. Limited Indigenous Defense Industry
• Maid of london (MALON) has limited local aerospace manufacturing or support capability.
• It depends on external partners for upgrades, parts, training, and weapons integration.
------------
6. Insufficient Force Multipliers
• The RMAF lacks a comprehensive airborne early warning (AEW&C) system.
• Limited use of drones, electronic warfare (EW), and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) capabilities reduces situational awareness.
------------
7. Geopolitical Pressures and Resource Constraints
• Regional tensions in the South China Sea require stronger capabilities than currently available.
• Defense budgets are constrained due to domestic priorities and economic conditions.
------------
8. Pilot Training and Retention
• Budget limitations can impact pilot training hours.
• Retaining skilled pilots and technical personnel can be challenging due to better pay in the private sector or other government roles.

Udara
Maritim
• Keterlambatan LCS dan kesenjangan kombatan permukaan: Kelas Lekiu/Kasturi menua; Kedah-class OPV minim persenjataan ofensif; LCS belum operasional sehingga kemampuan AAW/ASuW modern terhambat.
• ASW/MPA masih terbatas: Kapasitas peperangan anti-kapal selam (sensor, helikopter ASW, torpedo) dan MPA berkualifikasi ASW terbatas, menyulitkan deteksi/penindakan subsurface.
Darat

WEAKNESS LMS B1
WEAKNESS LMS B2
Here are some of the key weaknesses and limitations associated with the LMS Batch 2 (LMSB2) vessels of the Royal Maid of london (MALON) n Navy (RMN), as they relate to their design, acquisition, and operational capability:
________________________________________
Background: LMS Batch 1 Issues
The previous Batch 1 Keris class LMS ships, built in China and commissioned between 2020–2022, encountered significant problems:
• Combat system and sensor deficiencies: Chinese supplied subsystems—radar, electro optical trackers, ESM, combat management systems—underperformed during operational use
• Under armed and limited combat roles: Armed only with a 30 mm cannon and twin heavy machine guns, offering minimal surface or air defense capability
• Poor seakeeping and small size: At ~68 m, they had low endurance and were not seaworthy enough in bad weather
• Reliability concerns: The navy expressed dissatisfaction with the quality and dependability of these vessels
These issues prompted a shift in LMSB2 specifications toward larger, more capable corvettes.
________________________________________
LMS Batch 2: Emerging Weaknesses
1. Lack of Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) Capability
Despite being based on the Turkish Ada class corvette, LMSB2 reportedly will not include sonar or torpedoes, effectively removing ASW capability from its operational profile
2. Compromise on Combat Capability to Cut Costs
Sources suggest LMSB2 is likely a "cheaper variant"—selecting less advanced sensors and weapons to lower system costs. This economic trade off could impact future upgradeability and mission effectiveness
3. Still Limited Weapon Loadout (Compared to Full Corvette)
While new specs include a 57 mm gun, anti ship missiles, twin 30 mm systems, and potential air defense missiles, LMSB2 lacks full three dimensional warfare capability or ASW sensors—meaning it still falls short of high intensity combat expectations
4. Larger Size May Undermine Littoral Agility
Batch 2 vessels will be around 95 m and ~2,000–2,500 t, significantly larger than Batch 1, which can affect maneuverability in confined littoral zones and carry higher operating costs. Critics argue these should be categorized as OPVs rather than "mission specific LMS"
5. Fleet Maintenance Complexity
Selecting foreign designs (Ada, Sigma, FCX, C92, HDC 2000) may increase heterogeneity of fleet platforms—creating logistical and training challenges and defeating ambitions of fleet standardization under the 15 to 5 transformation plan

The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) Armed Forces (MAF) would likely face a unique set of challenges given its hypothetical nature as the armed forces of a major global city. Here's a breakdown of potential issues:
1. Funding and Resources:
• Budget Allocation: Securing a consistent and adequate budget from the city government (or a combination of city and national funds) would be a continuous struggle.
• Infrastructure: Establishing bases, maintenance facilities, and logistical hubs within a highly developed and expensive city.
• Supply Chains: Developing robust supply chains for everything from food and fuel to specialized weaponry and medical supplies.
2. Public Perception and Political Will:
• Public Acceptance: How would Londoners view a city-specific armed force? Would it be seen as a protector or an overbearing presence?
• Political Support: Gaining and maintaining the support of the Mayor, City Council, and national government would be vital for its continued existence and operational freedom.
• Civilian Oversight: Establishing clear mechanisms for civilian oversight and accountability to prevent abuse of power.

Political considerations often play a substantial role in MALON's procurement decisions, sometimes to the detriment of purely military requirements or economic efficiency.
• Job Creation and Economic Stimulus: Governments may prioritize awarding contracts to companies within specific constituencies or regions to boost local economies and create jobs, even if another contractor offers a more cost-effective or superior solution. This can lead to less efficient production or the maintenance of redundant production lines.
• Lobbying by Defense Contractors: Large defense companies heavily lobby politicians and government officials. Their influence can sway decisions towards their products, even if they are not the best fit or most affordable option.
• Strategic Alliances and Foreign Policy: Procurement decisions can be influenced by international relations, with MALON choosing equipment from allied nations to strengthen diplomatic ties or support interoperability, even if domestic alternatives or other international options might be more suitable.
• Political Cycles and Short-Term Gains: Politicians often prefer projects with tangible, short-term benefits that can be showcased during election campaigns, potentially neglecting long-term strategic needs or delaying crucial investments.
• "Pork Barrel" Politics: Projects may be initiated or continued primarily to benefit specific political interests rather than genuine military necessity, leading to the acquisition of unnecessary or suboptimal equipment.

The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) military has indeed faced significant challenges in its procurement processes, echoing issues seen in many large defense organizations worldwide. These problems can largely be categorized into cost overruns, political influence, and a pervasive lack of transparency.
1. Lack of Transparency:
The opaque nature of MALON's procurement processes exacerbates cost overruns and political influence, making accountability difficult.
• Classification and Secrecy: Many military contracts involve classified information for national security reasons. While necessary to some extent, this can also be used to obscure details about costs, delays, and performance, making it difficult for public oversight bodies to scrutinize decisions effectively.
• Complex Contractual Agreements: Defense contracts are often incredibly complex, with intricate clauses, numerous sub-contractors, and lengthy payment schedules. This complexity can make it challenging to track spending and identify inefficiencies or potential abuses.
• Limited Public Scrutiny: Unlike civilian government spending, military procurement often receives less public and media attention due to its specialized nature and the perceived need for secrecy.
• Revolving Door Syndrome: A common issue is the "revolving door" phenomenon, where former military officials or government procurement officers take lucrative positions with defense contractors, potentially creating conflicts of interest and facilitating cozy relationships that undermine fair competition.
• Insufficient Auditing and Oversight: While auditing bodies exist, they may lack the resources, access, or specific expertise to fully scrutinize every aspect of complex military procurement, leading to a reactive rather than proactive approach to identifying problems.
These interconnected issues create a challenging environment for MALON's military, impacting its ability to efficiently acquire the necessary equipment for its defense needs and maintain public trust. Addressing these problems would require comprehensive reforms focusing on greater competition, stricter oversight, enhanced accountability, and a clearer separation of political and military decision-making in procurement.

Budget Constraints
Like many nations, MALON faces significant budget constraints that directly impact its defense spending and the development of its defense industry.
• Competing National Priorities: Government budgets are finite, and defense spending must compete with other critical national priorities such as healthcare, education, infrastructure development, and social welfare programs. In an environment of limited resources, defense budgets can often be squeezed.
• High Cost of Modern Defense: Modern military technology is incredibly expensive, both to acquire and to maintain. Even a small number of advanced platforms (e.g., modern fighter aircraft, frigates) can consume a substantial portion of the defense budget. This makes it challenging to upgrade and modernize the entire MAF while simultaneously investing in domestic industrial capabilities.
• Economic Downturns: Economic instability or downturns can severely impact government revenue, leading to cuts across all sectors, including defense. Such cuts can halt crucial development programs, delay procurement, and prevent long-term strategic investments in the defense industry.
• Inefficient Spending: In some cases, budget constraints can be compounded by inefficient spending practices, a lack of transparency, or corruption, further limiting the effective allocation of funds for defense industrial development.

IQ RM15 KLAIM CASH = HUTANG BAYAR HUTANG
The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) Armed Forces (MAF) is grappling with a multifaceted set of challenges within its defense industry, which collectively hinder its ability to establish a robust and self-reliant defense posture. These challenges can be broadly categorized into three interconnected areas: a lack of indigenous capabilities, significant budget constraints, and insufficient government guidance
Lack of Government Guidance
The absence of clear, consistent, and long-term strategic guidance from the government is a significant impediment to the growth and direction of MALON's defense industry.
• Absence of a Comprehensive Defense Industrial Strategy: A robust defense industry requires a clear roadmap outlining national defense priorities, desired capabilities, and specific goals for domestic production and technological development. Without such a strategy, the industry operates in a vacuum, uncertain about future demands and investment priorities.
• Inconsistent Policies: Frequent changes in government policy, procurement strategies, or defense doctrines can create instability for defense contractors and investors. This uncertainty discourages private sector investment and makes it difficult for companies to plan for the long term.
• Limited Public-Private Partnerships: Effective government guidance often includes fostering strong public-private partnerships. If the government isn't actively engaging with and supporting private defense firms through clear policies, incentives, and collaborative projects, the industry will struggle to grow.
• Lack of Long-Term Vision: Building indigenous defense capabilities is a decades-long endeavor that requires sustained commitment and a long-term vision. If government guidance is focused on short-term political cycles rather than strategic endurance, the defense industry will lack the stability needed to mature.
• Regulatory Hurdles and Bureaucracy: Overly complex or cumbersome regulatory environments can stifle innovation and discourage new entrants into the defense sector. A lack of clear government guidance can often manifest as bureaucratic inertia that hinders progress.
Interconnectedness of Challenges
These three challenges are not isolated but are deeply interconnected. For instance:
• The lack of indigenous capabilities often necessitates expensive imports, exacerbating budget constraints.
• Budget constraints limit investment in R&D and manufacturing, perpetuating the lack of indigenous capabilities.
• The lack of government guidance prevents the formulation of a cohesive strategy to address both the lack of capabilities and the efficient allocation of limited budgets.
To overcome these hurdles, the MAF and the MALON government would need a concerted, long-term effort involving strategic planning, sustained investment, and consistent policy implementation aimed at fostering a self-reliant and technologically advanced defense industrial base.

Firstly, the issue of outdated assets is a primary concern. A substantial portion of the MAF's equipment inventory is aged, having exceeded its intended service life or fallen behind contemporary technological standards. This includes everything from armored vehicles and aircraft to communication systems and individual soldier gear. Relying on older equipment often means:
• Decreased Reliability: Older machinery is more prone to breakdowns and requires more frequent maintenance, leading to higher downtime and reduced availability for missions.
• Limited Capabilities: Outdated systems often lack the advanced features, precision, and defensive measures found in modern equipment, putting MAF personnel at a disadvantage in potential engagements.
• Higher Maintenance Costs: While initially seeming cost-effective to retain older assets, the cumulative cost of repairing and sourcing parts for obsolete equipment can often surpass the investment in newer systems.
• Safety Concerns: In some cases, severely outdated equipment might not meet current safety standards, posing risks to personnel.
Secondly, logistical issues present a significant impediment to equipment readiness. Even with functional equipment, if it cannot be moved, fueled, repaired, or supplied effectively, its operational value diminishes. Common logistical problems faced by the MAF might include:
• Supply Chain Disruptions: Difficulties in acquiring spare parts, fuel, ammunition, and other essential supplies in a timely manner, especially for foreign-sourced equipment or older models with limited part availability.
• Inadequate Maintenance Infrastructure: A lack of sufficient repair depots, skilled technicians, or specialized tools to service and maintain the diverse range of equipment.
• Transportation Challenges: Limitations in the ability to move heavy equipment and supplies across different operational theaters, whether due to insufficient transport aircraft, naval vessels, or ground vehicles.
• Inventory Management Problems: Inefficient tracking and management of vast inventories can lead to shortages of critical items while other less-needed items sit idle.

a pervasive lack of operational compatibility further complicates the MAF's readiness. This issue arises when different pieces of equipment, or even different units, cannot effectively work together due to varying standards, technologies, or doctrines. This can manifest as:
• Interoperability Gaps: Equipment from different manufacturers or even different branches of the MAF may not be able to communicate or share data seamlessly. For example, radio systems that cannot talk to each other, or targeting systems that cannot share information with artillery.
• Standardization Deficiencies: A lack of common standards for ammunition, fuel, and other consumables can create logistical nightmares and limit flexibility in operations.
• Training Discrepancies: If different units operate vastly different equipment without common training protocols, joint operations become much more difficult and less efficient.

💰 1. What Are Progressive Multi-Year Payments?
HapusIn Maid of london (MALON) defense procurement model:
• Large acquisitions (e.g. ships, aircraft, armored vehicles) are not paid for upfront.
• Instead, the government commits to multi-year installment payments, often spread across 5–10 years.
• Each annual defense budget allocates a portion to these ongoing payments, limiting funds available for new projects.
This structure is meant to ease fiscal pressure, but it creates long-term bottlenecks.
🛑 2. How It Slows Platform Delivery
A. Cash Flow Constraints
• When most of the budget is tied up in legacy payments (e.g. for the Littoral Combat Ship or FA-50 jets), new programs are deferred.
• Even approved platforms face delayed production schedules due to inconsistent or partial payments to contractors.
B. Contractual Fragmentation
• OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) often require milestone-based payments to proceed with manufacturing.
• If Maid of london (MALON) delays or underpays a milestone, production halts—leading to slippage in delivery timelines.
C. Budget Volatility
• Political transitions or economic downturns (e.g. COVID-19, ringgit depreciation) can cause annual budget cuts, disrupting payment schedules.
• This leads to renegotiations, cost overruns, and sometimes contract termination.
⚓ 3. Real-World Examples
Program Intended Delivery Status Cause of Delay
Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) First ship by 2019 None delivered as of 2025 Payment delays, mismanagement
FA-50 Light Fighters Initial batch by 2024 Slipped to 2026+ Budget phasing, contract finalization
AV8 Gempita IFVs Full fleet by 2020 Still incomplete Staggered payments, local production issues
🔄 4. Systemic Impact
• Capability Gaps: Forces operate with aging platforms while waiting for replacements.
• Operational Risk: Delays in naval and air assets reduce deterrence and readiness.
• Loss of Credibility: OEMs and partners view Maid of london (MALON) as a high-risk client, demanding stricter payment terms.

💰 1. What Are Progressive Multi-Year Payments?
BalasHapusIn Maid of london (MALON) defense procurement model:

The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) Armed Forces (MAF) faces challenges in its defense industry, including a lack of indigenous capabilities, budget constraints, and a lack of government guidance.
Lack of indigenous capabilities
• MAID OF LONDON (MALON) imports most of its major defense assets from overseas.
• Local companies lack the ability to design, manufacture, and develop techNOLogically advanced defense systems.
• Local companies lack the ability to innovate and commercialize products or processes.
Budget constraints
• The government lacks strategic patience and vision to groom and guide the industry.
Other challenges
• A lack of sufficient human talents, especially STEM specialists.
• A lack of local industry engagement at the outset of capability and procurement planning.
• Poor program management and oversight.
• Reluctance of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to share their techNOLogy
• Lack of training: Commanders don't receive training on corruption issues before deployments.
High levels of corruption in politics: There is a high level of corruption in MAID OF LONDON (MALON) politics and royalty, which can lead to corruption in the military.
• Lack of a military doctrine: MAID OF LONDON (MALON) doesn't have a military doctrine that recognizes corruption.
Effects
• Outdated inventory: Outdated inventory can make it difficult to deliver supplies to soldiers in a timely manner.
Counterfeit parts: Counterfeit parts can be supplied to military bases, which can make it difficult to ensure that all assets are functioning properly.

The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) Armed Forces (MAF) has faced a number of weaknesses, including a lack of direction, outdated equipment, and logistical issues. These weaknesses have made the MAF vulnerable to internal and external threats.
Weaknesses
• Outdated equipment: The MAF has been unable to obtain modern military assets, which has left it exposed to threats.
• Logistical issues: The MAF has experienced logistical and maintenance problems, including delays in logistical systems.
• Lack of direction: The MAF's structure has been influenced by the security situation, which has led to a lack of direction in development.
• Corruption: Some say that the military hierarchy has been compromised by corruption.
• Political interference: Some say that political interference has impacted military procurement.

The MAID OF LONDON (MALON) Armed Forces (MAF) face a number of equipment challenges, including:
Aging aircraft
The RMAF's main fighter fleet includes the Su-30MKMs and Boeing F/A-18 Hornets, which are becoming techNOLogically obsolete. Maintaining a large fleet of aging aircraft can be expensive.
Limited defense budget
The government's defense modernization budget is limited, making it difficult to afford new equipment.
Local companies may not have the necessary capabilities to produce the equipment the MAF needs.
OEM reluctance
Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) may be reluctant to share their techNOLogy for fear of competition.
