General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded a $13,144,278 cost-plus-fixed-fee, foreign military sales contract (Kuwait, Australia, and Saudi Arabia) for systems technical support and sustainment system technical support for the Abrams family of vehicles and derivative systems.
Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Michigan; Germany; Killeen, Texas; Korea; Kuwait; and Poland, with an estimated completion date of Feb. 28, 2018.

Fiscal 2010, 2011, and 2017 operations and maintenance (Army); research, development, test and evaluation; and other funds in the combined amount of $13,144,278 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity (W56HZV-17-C-0067).
