EVO-105 howitzer 105mm gerak sendiri berbasis truk 6x6 (all photos: Hanwha Land Systems)
Sistem artileri gerak sendiri EVO-105 (awalnya disebut Evolved Wheeled Self-Propelled Howitzer) atau K105A1 (untuk Angkatan Darat Korea Selatan) yang dikembangkan oleh Samsung Techwin (sekarang Hanwa Aerospace) memasang rakitan laras M101, sistem tolak balik, dan bagian pantat (breech) ke bak sasis truk Kia KM500 (6×6) seberat 5 ton. Jadilah howitzer beroda yang berevolusi dilengkapi dengan sistem pengendalian tembakan otomatis dan sistem penentuan posisi, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi operasionalnya ke tingkat yang lebih besar. EVO-105 adalah sistem otomatis yang dapat dioperasikan dengan lima tentara, dibandingkan model lama yang dioperasikan oleh sembilan tentara.
Inti dari sistem ini adalah artileri ringan 105 mm seri M101A1 yang kokoh dan dapat diandalkan (dan senapan mesin berat kaliber M2HB .50 dibawa dalam dudukan cincin di atas kabin truk untuk pertahanan kendaraan jarak dekat).
Dengan jangkauan lebih dari 11 km, M101A1 telah mendapatkan reputasi yang layak dalam hal keandalan, kecepatan, dan akurasi. Jangkauan meriam ini adalah 11,3 km sehingga dapat bertindak “seperti mortir” dalam peran pendukung tembakan infanteri dan melengkapi K9 155 mm yang memiliki jangkauan lebih jauh. Howitzer adalah sistem persenjataan yang hemat biaya untuk membantu meningkatkan kekuatan artileri, karena dapat menggunakan amunisi konvensional dengan biaya perolehan lebih rendah.

Dibangunkan oleh syarikat Oto Melara daripada Itali, meriam itu yang juga dikenali dengan panggilan “Pack Howitzer” mula memasuki produksi pada 1957 dan sehingga lebih 30 buah negara terus menggunakan meriam itu.
Meriam Pack Howitzer ini telah terlibat dengan pelbagai peperangan dan konflik daripada Perang Falklands, Perang Vietnam, Konfrontasi Malaysia-Indonesia sehinggalah kepada usaha memerangi pengganas Komunis oleh Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM).
Walaupun usianya kini mencapai 65 tahun, ia tetap menjadi “tulang belakang” kepada unit-unit artilleri Tentera Darat Malaysia, dengan lebih daripada 100 unit meriam Pack Howitzer Mod 56 ini masih digunakan oleh anggota tentera kita.

KAEDAH SEWA BOAT = kaedah penyewaan ini bukanlah kali pertama dilakukan. Kerajaan sebelum ini pernah menyewa Helikopter Latihan Airbus EC120B dan Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) Untuk Kegunaan Kursus Asas Juruterbang Helikopter TUDM.
Selain itu, kerajaan turut pernah menyewa 5 unit Helikopter EC120B; 1 unit Sistem Simulator dan sewaan Bot Op Pasir merangkumi 10 unit Fast Interceptor Boat (FIB); 10 unit Utility Boat; 10 unit Rigid Hull Fender Boat (RHFB); 10 unit Rover Fiber Glass (Rover).
SEWA BOAT HIDROGRAFI = Panglima TLDM, Laksamana Tan Sri Ahmad Kamarulzaman Ahmad Badaruddin, berkata tugas pemetaan data batimetri bagi kawasan perairan negara akan dilakukan oleh sebuah kapal hidrografi moden, MV Aishah AIM 4, yang diperoleh menerusi kontrak sewaan dari syarikat Breitlink Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (BESSB).

BalasHapusJakarta - Wakil Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo menyiapkan sejumlah strategi untuk mendorong peningkatan jumlah pengguna Kereta Cepat Jakarta-Bandung (KCJB) atau Whoosh. Hal ini menjadi evaluasi mengingat jumlah penumpang Whoosh masih di bawah target.
Sebagaimana diketahui sebelumnya, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) sendiri menargetkan jumlah penumpang Whoosh bisa tembus 30 ribu penumpang per hari. Namun saat ini, secara rata-rata angkanya masih di bawah 20 ribu per hari. Oleh karena itu, pihaknya menyiapkan skema dynamic pricing sebagai salah satu strateginya.

PRANK PALADIN = United States has offered Malaysia up to 30 M109A5 Self Propelled Howitzer (SPH) under the Excess Defence Articles (EDA) programme. The M109s would be upgraded to the latest A5 standard before entering service with the Army, if the offer is taken up.
The upgrading could be done in the US or locally, industry sources told Malaysian Defence. It is likely around 20 SPH will be upgraded while the rest could be used as spares.
Malaysia has not been a keen EDA buyer previously as shown by the programme database, for reasons unknown. Therefore the likelihood that this offer being accepted remain low however even though bigger nations like Australia, Canada and even Singapore had used this route to get cheap spare parts for their assets.

BalasHapusBesarnya jumlah penumpang Whoosh dalam 2 bulan ini sebenarnya masih di bawah target. Sebab Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi pernah menargetkan Whoosh bisa mengangkut 30 ribu orang per hari. Sementara realisasi saat ini, jika 1,02 juta penumpang dibagi 2 bulan baru terangkut rata-rata 17.136 penumpang per hari.

MERIAM 105 = UMUR NEGARA : Walaupun 18 buah meriam 105mm LG1 MKIII telah mula digunakan oleh Rejimen Pertama Artileri Diraja Para (1 RAD Para) tetapi tulang belakang kepada unit-unit artilleri tentera darat negara tetap meriam Oto Melara Model 56 (Mod 56) 105mm.
Dibangunkan oleh syarikat Oto Melara daripada Itali, meriam itu yang juga dikenali dengan panggilan “Pack Howitzer” mula memasuki produksi pada 1957 dan sehingga lebih 30 buah negara terus menggunakan meriam itu.

An LoI is signed during day three of DSA 2016. 20 units are to be supplied, which include the supporting vehicles, and will boost the Malaysian Army's firepower inventory.
PRANK PALADIN = United States has offered Malaysia up to 30 M109A5 Self Propelled Howitzer (SPH) under the Excess Defence Articles (EDA) programme. The M109s would be upgraded to the latest A5 standard before entering service with the Army, if the offer is taken up.
