Two USAF B-1B Bombers arrived in Singapore on 18 January 2024 and will stay till early next week for a stopover, during which they will conduct air-to-air refuelling training with the RSAF's A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT).
Over the years, the RSAF has facilitated aircraft stopovers from various countries. These provide the RSAF valuable training and professional exchange opportunities with different aircraft and aircrew.

Mengawali tahun 2024, PT PAL Indonesia bersiap untuk melaksanakan acara peletakan lunas (keel laying) Landing Platform Dock (LPD) pesanan (tambahan) untuk Angkatan Laut Filipina pada 22 Januari 2024. Sebelumnya pada 10 Agustus 2023, PT PAL Indonesia telah melakukan pemotongan baja pertama – first steel cutting untuk kedua unit LPD pesanan Filipina.

Setelah puas dengan kualitas dari dua unit LPD (Landing Platform Dock) atau SSV (Strategic Sealift Vessel) Tarlac Class – BRP Tarlac 601 dan BRP Davao del Sur 602 produksi PT PAL Indonesia, pada 24 Juni 2022, Departemen Pertahanan Filipina telah resmi mengoder dua unit SSV lagi (tambahan) dari PT PAL Indonesia.
Dipercayakannya PT PAL Indonesia dalam pengadaan 2 (dua) unit kapal perang jenis Landing Dock oleh Angkatan Laut Filipina, karena kepuasan Pemerintah Filipina dan Angkatan Laut Filipina atas pengoperasian 2 unit Landing Dock atau Strategic Sealift Vessel (SSV) yang telah diserahterimakan oleh PT PAL beberapa tahun lalu.
BRP Tarlac
LPD pesanan Angkatan Laut Filipina memiliki panjang 123 meter, tinggi 21 meter, dengan berat sebesar 7.200 ton serta memiliki cruising endurance selama 30 hari. Pengadaan LPD kali ini mengakomodir penyesuaian kebutuhan militer Filipina saat ini dengan perubahan minor pada platform kapal. Nantinya kapal LPD ini diharapkan akan siap bertugas hingga sea state 6, serta kapabilitas pengoperasian perlengkapan fasilitas kapal pada sea state 4.
