“Kita akan menambah dua skuadron lagi. Saat ini kita sudah punya skuadron drone, yaitu Skuadron 51 di Pontianak dan Skuadron 52 di Natuna. Kita akan tambah lagi dengan dua skuadron, yaitu 53 di Tarakan dan 54 di Abdurachman Saleh di Malang,” ucap Agung ditemui di Gedung Puri Ardhya Garini, Halim Perdana Kusuma, Jakarta, Kamis.
Kadispenau menjelaskan bahwa saat ini TNI AU masih mengoperasikan drone jenis ANKA dan CH4. Nantinya, kata dia, skuadron baru tersebut akan diisi oleh drone ANKA yang dibeli dari Turki.

“Pertama sekarang kita akan gunakan secara operatif itu ada ANKA, CH4; dua itu saja yang akan jadi tulang punggung dari skuadron ini. Rencananya seperti itu (ANKA dari Turki) akan mengisi skuadron baru,” ujar Agung.
Sebelumnya, Kementerian Pertahanan RI dan Turkish Aerospace di Jakarta, 3 Februari 2023, meneken kerja sama pembelian 12 unit ANKA yang disertai dengan beberapa program pelatihan, alih teknologi, dan dukungan untuk integrated logistic support (ILS), ground support and test equipment (GS&TE), flight simulator, infrastruktur hanggar, dan masa garansi selama 24 bulan/600 jam terbang.

Adapun Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Udara (KSAU) Marsekal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo menyebut TNI AU senantiasa mengikuti perkembangan teknologi terbaru di bidang militer, khususnya terkait drone, sesuai dengan amanat Presiden RI Joko Widodo.
Marsekal TNI Fadjar saat membuka Rapat Pimpinan TNI AU Tahun 2024 di Gedung Puri Ardhya Garini, Jakarta, Kamis, menyebut TNI AU sudah berkontribusi nyata lewat penggunaan teknologi Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) atau pesawat nirawak sejak 2015.
"Ke depan TNI AU akan terus dilengkapi dengan UAV dan UCAV (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles atau pesawat tempur nirawak) yang lebih modern," tutur KSAU.

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 FEB – Jawatankuasa Kira-kira Wang Negara (PAC) hari ini mendedahkan projek pembinaan Kapal Tempur Pesisir (LCS) Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia mengalami kelewatan 86 hari.

Kelewatan LCS disahkan semasa prosiding yang dijalankan pada 24 Januari lalu.
“Berdasarkan perancangan yang ditetapkan kemajuan kerja bagi projek LCS pada Disember 2023 adalah 66.78 peratus secara keseluruhan,
“Walau bagaimanapun, berdasarkan verifikasi yang telah dilaksanakan oleh pasukan projek, kerja-kerja di limbungan hanya mencapai 67.28 peratus,
“Ini menunjukkan terdapat varian sebanyak 1.49 peratus atau kelewatan sebanyak 86 hari,” kata laporan itu.
Menurutnya, perkara tersebut telah dijelaskan oleh pihak Kementerian Pertahanan Malaysia (MINDEF), TLDM, dan Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) semasa prosiding pada 24 Januari 2024.
