TNI AL siapkan dua KRI pemburu ranjau untuk Minex Pandu 2024
“Latihan ini menitikberatkan pada kegiatan berburu ranjau dan tindakan perlawanan ranjau untuk memberi dukungan timbal balik dan tujuan bersama mengatasi krisis,” kata Kepala Staf Koarmada II Laksamana Pertama TNI Isswarto membacakan amanat Panglima Koarmada II Laksamana Muda TNI Ariantyo Condrowibowo saat apel gelar pasukan dan alutsista untuk Latma Minex Pandu 2024 di Dermaga Madura Koarmada II, Ujung, Surabaya, Jawa Timur, Rabu (8/5).
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Komando Armada (Koarmada) II TNI Angkatan Laut menyiapkan dua kapal perang pemburu ranjau yaitu KRI Pulau Fani-731 dan KRI Pulau Fanildo-732 untuk mengikuti latihan bersama (latma) Joint Minex Pandu 2024 dengan Angkatan Laut Singapura (RSN).
Latma Joint Minex Pandu 2024 merupakan latihan bersama yang rutin digelar oleh TNI AL dan Angkatan Laut Singapura (RSN) di perairan sekitar Kepulauan Riau yang berbatasan langsung dengan Singapura.
Dinas Penerangan Komando Armada II dalam siaran resminya yang dikonfirmasi di Jakarta, Kamis, menjelaskan latihan itu merupakan kesempatan mengukur kemampuan pengawak KRI terutama dalam berburu ranjau (mine warfare exercise).

Dua kapal yang dipersiapkan TNI AL untuk latihan itu, KRI Pulau Fani-731 dan KRI Pulau Fanildo-732 merupakan kapal pemburu ranjau buatan Jerman yang dibuat di Galangan Kapal Abeking & Rasmussen, Lamwerder-Bremen. Kapal berjenis MCMV (mine counter measure vessel) itu memiliki spesifikasi panjang 61,4 meter, lebar 11,1 meter, dan bobot 1.444 ton. Kapal dapat berlayar dengan kecepatan maksimal 18 knot, kecepatan jelajah 10 knot, dan kecepatan ekonomis 10 knot.
Kapal berbahan dasar baja nonmagnetik itu dilengkapi dengan empat unit lift craft, dua unit perahu karet (rigid hull inflatable boat), degaussing system yang dapat mengurangi daya magnetik kapal, dan penggerak motor elektrik yang mampu mengurangi suara bising.

Dua kapal pemburu ranjau itu juga memiliki perangkat autonomous underwater vehicle (UAV) yang dapat mendeteksi dan mengidentifikasi kontak/objek dalam air, dan unmanned surface vessel (USV) yang berfungsi membersihkan ranjau di permukaan laut.
Ada juga remotely operated vehicle (ROV) dan peralatan sonar bawah air untuk mendeteksi ancaman di perairan dalam.
Dua kapal itu mulai memperkuat TNI AL, khususnya Koarmada II, sejak Agustus 2023.
