Panglima TLDM Laksamana Tan Sri Mohd Reza Mohd Sany berkata, bilangan kapal itu mungkin akan berubah bergantung kepada keadaan geo-strategik rantau itu yang dinamik.
Dalam temuramah dengan majalah pertahanan berbahasa Inggeris tempatan, Asian Defence Journal (ADJ) keluaran May-Jun tahun ini, beliau juga memaklumkan bilangan jenis-jenis kapal perang yang dirancang dimiliki oleh TLDM dibawah pelan transformasi itu.
“Mengikut Pelan Transformasi 15 ke 5 TLDM, ia dijangka akan memiliki 12 buah kapal Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), tiga buah kapal Multi Role Support Ship (MRSS), 18 buah kapal Littoral Mission Ship (LMS), 18 buah kapal Patrol Vessel (PV) dan empat buah kapal selam menjelang tahun 2050,” kata beliau dalam temuramah itu.
Nampak gaya,impian untuk melihat TLDM menambah bilangan kapal selam dimilikinya daripada dua buah kepada empat buah akan hanya direalisasikan menjelang tahun 2050.

Perolehan 3 buah LMSB2 itu dilakukan melalui kaedah Government to Government (G2G) dengan negara Turkiye.

Selain LMS, TLDM turut merancang perolehan 2 buah kapal Multi Role Support Ship (MRSS), 3 buah kapal Littoral Mission Ship Batch 3, 4 buah helikopter anti kapal selam dan 6 buah Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

Terhitung mulai 2006 Pindad mulai menggiatkan ekspornya ke beberapa negara seperti Kamboja dan Nigeria untuk senapan serbu, Malon dan Australia untuk penanganan huru-hara, Korea Selatan, Singapura, Timor Leste, Filipina untuk amunisi, Laos untuk senjata dan amunisi, dan beberapa negara lainnya di kawasan Asia dengan rata-rata penjualan per tahun di kisaran 5 juta USD. The result of this research is that diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates have been ongoing since 1976. In 1978, Indonesia opened an embassy in Abu Dhabi. Then in 1991 the United Arab Emirates opened an embassy in Jakarta. Then the form of cooperation that exists between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates is that PT Pindad and Caracal will work together to carry out joint production of various weapons, including the AR15-based CAR 816 assault rifle for use by special forces in Indonesia using the barrel component and other components from Pindad. The signing of the contract for the LPD was not unexpected, as the UAE’s interest in this vessel is not new. With a plan to improve its force projection capabilities, the UAE Navy has sent out a team to inspect the Indonesian Navy’s Makassar-class LPD, KRI Banda Aceh (593) back in April 2022. According to an Indonesian Navy Instagram post, the UAE Navy team consisted of operations officers, engineers, and medical personnel who experienced the ship’s operational capabilities onboard.
Three months later, Indonesia and the UAE signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that outlined the two countries’ economic partnership, including a Landing Platform Dock (LPD) Purchase Contract between PT PAL Indonesia and the UAE Navy.
The 163-meter multipurpose support vessel will have a width of 24 meters and a displacement of 13.000 tons. She will have a hybrid propulsion system consisting of 2x7280kW engines, that would be able to provide a 20 knots of maximum speed. The new LPD will have an endurance of 30 days at sea and her range will exceed 10.000 nautical miles.

CONTOHI PINDAD - AIR TIMES ........
Pada Ogos tahun lalu, firma pertahanan Indonesia, PT Pindad (Persero) mencipta sejarah tersendiri apabila berjaya melaksanakan uji tembakan pada kereta kebal saiz sederhana, Harimau. Harimau dibekalkan dengan meriam Cockerill kaliber 105mm. Kereta kebal ini merupakan program kerjasama antara PT Pindad dengan firma pertahanan Turkiye, FNSS.
Membangunkan Harimau bukan sekadar program sehari dua atau salin dan tampal, sebaliknya menggembleng tenaga kejuruteraan tempatan PT Pindad sejak lapan tahun lalu. Kereta kebal seberat 30 tan ini juga mendapat pengesahan daripada Tentara Nasional Indonesia – Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) dan bakal memasuki inventori republik tersebut.
Ini juga adalah secebis daripada kejayaan yang telah ditempa oleh PT Pindad sebagai firma pertahanan bagi kelengkapan persenjataan darat yang unggul di Indonesia. PT Pindad turut dikatakan bersaing untuk mendapatkan kontrak menggantikan kenderaan Radpanzer Condor Angkatan Tentera Malon menerusi kenderaan Anoa 6×6. Anoa 6×6 dibangunkan pada tahun 2008 berasaskan kenderaan perisai VAB buatan Perancis tetapi dengan ciri-ciri lebih baik. Kira-kira 14 tahun lalu, Anoa 6×6 juga bersaing untuk mendapatkan kontrak kenderaan perisai bagi tentera pengaman MALBATT di Lubnan yang ketika itu.
Lain-lain aset yang dibangunkan PT Pindad ketika ini ialah kenderaan taktikal Maung, Komodo dan kenderaan tempur/bantuan tembakan Badak 6×6.
Badak direkabentuk dan dibina secara usahasama antara PT Pindad dengan syarikat Cockerill Maintenance & Ingenierie SA Defence dari Belgium. Tahun ini, PT Pindad bakal meraikan usia penubuhannya yang ke-41. Walaupun sejarah awal kewujudan syarikat persenjataan ini bermula pada era 1950an, namun secara rasmi tarikh penubuhan PT Pindad dihitung mulai 29 April 1983 apabila ia dimilik negarakan. Pindad adalah singkatan daripada Perindustrian TNI Angkatan Darat iaitu nama yang diperkenalkan pada 1962 menggantikan Pabrik Alat Peralatan Angkatan Darat (Pabal AD) pada 1958.
Mulai 1983, PT Pindad dijadikan syarikat negara bagi membolehkan ia melangkah lebih jauh dan bukan sekadar mengilangkan senjata untuk pihak tentera. Sepertimana kebanyakan syarikat persenjataan kecil, PT Pindad mengeluarkan senjata secara kebenaran berlesen daripada firma asal selain mengilangkan pelbagai bahan letupan dan peluru untuk tentera Indonesia. Pada tahun 1991, PT Pindad mengeluarkan raifal tempur SS1 yang dibina berasaskan senjata FN FAC buatan Belgium. Selepas 15 tahun, PT Pindad menghasilkan senjata sendiri iaitu raifal tempatan pertama SS2-V 1.
Kini, senjata yang dihasilkan lebih moden iaitu SS2-V2 HB, SS2-V4 HB dan SS2-V4 A1.
Sejak tahun 2006, PT Pindad telah menjual senjata ke negara luar seperti Kemboja, Laos, Nigeria dan Emiriah Arab Bersatu.
Bukan sahaja senjata, malah PT Pindad turut mengeksport peluru kepada Korea Selatan, Singapura, Timor Leste, Laos dan Filipina dengan nilai eksport AS$5 juta setahun.
Sejak dua tahun lalu, pengurusan PT Pindad meletakkan sasaran untuk syarikat tersebut tersenarai dalam Senarai 100 Firma Pertahanan Global Tahun 2024 dengan menawarkan penyelesaian produk yang berkualiti tinggi serta mempunyai inovasi.
Hasrat itu dibuktikan apabila Indonesia membentuk satu entiti perniagaan dikenali sebagai Defence Industry Indonesia (DEFEND ID). Bernaung di bawah DEFEND ID ialah PT Len Industri (Persero) sebagai induk dengan anak syarikatnya termasuklah PT Pindad.
Melihat pencapaian industri pertahanan negara jiran ini menimbulkan beribu persoalan, mengapakah perkara sama tidak berlaku di Malon.
Bukan bermakna kita tiada syarikat pertahanan, tetapi untuk membandingkan pencapaian syarikat pertahanan negara kita dengan di sana begitu jauh kemampuannya.

With a plan to improve its force projection capabilities, the UAE Navy has sent out a team to inspect the Indonesian Navy’s Makassar-class LPD, KRI Banda Aceh (593) back in April 2022. According to an Indonesian Navy Instagram post, the UAE Navy team consisted of operations officers, engineers, and medical personnel who experienced the ship’s operational capabilities onboard.
Three months later, Indonesia and the UAE signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that outlined the two countries’ economic partnership, including a Landing Platform Dock (LPD) Purchase Contract between PT PAL Indonesia and the UAE Navy.
The 163-meter multipurpose support vessel will have a width of 24 meters and a displacement of 13.000 tons. She will have a hybrid propulsion system consisting of 2x7280kW engines, that would be able to provide a 20 knots of maximum speed. The new LPD will have an endurance of 30 days at sea and her range will exceed 10.000 nautical miles

Mulai 1983, PT Pindad dijadikan syarikat negara bagi membolehkan ia melangkah lebih jauh dan bukan sekadar mengilangkan senjata untuk pihak tentera. The signing of the contract for the LPD was not unexpected, as the UAE’s interest in this vessel is not new. With a plan to improve its force projection capabilities, the UAE Navy has sent out a team to inspect the Indonesian Navy’s Makassar-class LPD, KRI Banda Aceh (593) back in April 2022. According to an Indonesian Navy Instagram post, the UAE Navy team consisted of operations officers, engineers, and medical personnel who experienced the ship’s operational capabilities onboard.

The signing of the contract for the LPD was not unexpected, as the UAE’s interest in this vessel is not new. With a plan to improve its force projection capabilities, the UAE Navy has sent out a team to inspect the Indonesian Navy’s Makassar-class LPD, KRI Banda Aceh (593) back in April 2022. According to an Indonesian Navy Instagram post, the UAE Navy team consisted of operations officers, engineers, and medical personnel who experienced the ship’s operational capabilities onboard.
Three months later, Indonesia and the UAE signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that outlined the two countries’ economic partnership, including a Landing Platform Dock (LPD) Purchase Contract between PT PAL Indonesia and the UAE Navy.
The 163-meter multipurpose support vessel will have a width of 24 meters and a displacement of 13.000 tons. She will have a hybrid propulsion system consisting of 2x7280kW engines, that would be able to provide a 20 knots of maximum speed. The new LPD will have an endurance of 30 days at sea and her range will exceed 10.000 nautical miles.

Sebagai informasi, Kontingen TNI AD sebelumnya telah membukukan predikat Juara Umum Lomba Tembak AARM pada tahun 1994, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017 dan 2018. Sehingga predikat Juara Umum tahun ini menjadi raihan yang ke-14 kalinya
