Sementara itu, Wamenhan Herindra mengatakan, ketidakhadiran Menteri Pertahanan Prabowo Subianto, karena sedang mengikuti konferensi tingkat tinggi "Call for Action: Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza”.

The Malaysian government is facing a fresh corruption crisis after officials admitted that two US-made fighter jet engines had disappeared from an air force base after apparently being illicitly sold by military officers to a South American arms dealer.
The General Electric J85-21A engines, each worth about M$50m ($15m), were spares for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s Northrop Grumman F-5E Tiger II fighters, which fly from the Butterworth air base near the country’s northern border with Thailand.
Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, defence minister, said the engines and associated equipment were “believed to have been sent to a South American country” after being moved to the Sungai Besi air force base in Kuala Lumpur for maintenance.

    TIADA BAYAR HUTANG ..............
    HANYA BAYAR FAEDAH ..............
Jumlah RM1445.9 trilion.
"Hutang Kerajaan Persekutuan telah mencecah RM60.4%. Dia termasuk khidmat hutang. (Pada) 2022 kita bayar khidmat hutang RM41 bilion dan 2023 RM46 bilion.
"Peratus hasil 2022 sebanyak 14%, 2023 16%. Ini hanya membayar faedah bukan membayar hutang tertunggak," katanya menjawab pertanyaan Ahli Parlimen Wong Kah Woh (PH - Taiping).

    2024 MYR 19,7 ( +/- 4 MILIAR DOLAR AS) = SEWA LAGI ...
The Defence Ministry has been allocated RM19.7bil, an increase of RM2bil compared from this year, while the Home Ministry will receive RM19bil, an increase of RM500mil from this year, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
    2023 MYR 17,74 = SEWA
    2022 MYR 16,14 = SEWA
Malaysia has proposed a 2023 defence budget of MYR17.74 billion (USD3.97 billion), a nominal 10% increase over the original 2022 allocation of MYR16.14 billion.
    ---
SUPPLEMENTARY FUND = Anyhow Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari told Parliament that the supplementary budget was necessary as the allocation for 2022 was lower some RM401 million. The supplementary funds will pay for utility bills – electricity, internet, and sewage – (RM115 million); Maritime Security Operations (RM139 million) and Air Defence Operations (RM49 million).
    -----
SCANDALS = Now and then, by exception, scandals spill out into the public domain, like Bumiputera Malaysia Finance 1982, Bank Negara’s FX losses in the 1980s and 1990s, the Scorpene submarines of 2002, the National Feedlot scandal – “cowgate” – of 2012, 1MDB, and the latest LCS naval procurement. But these are just the tip of the iceberg of systematic pilferage. It has become the institutional norm.
