Kunjungan delegasi TNI AU ke Baykar Technologies, Turkiye mendapat penjelasan tentang HALE UCAV Bayraktar Akinci (all photos: TNI AU)
Kepala Staf Angkatan Udara (Kasau) Marsekal TNI M. Tonny Harjono, S.E., M.M., beserta delegasi TNI Angkatan Udara (TNI AU) mengunjungi Baykar Technology, Istanbul, Sabtu (29/6/24).
Dalam kunjungan ini, Kasau menerima presentasi Baykar Technology, salah satu perusahaan teknologi yang memiliki spesialisasi dalam Pesawat Terbang Tanpa Awak Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) dan kecerdasan buatan Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Selama kunjungan, Kasau juga berkesempatan mengunjungi fasilitas Baykar di Corlu dan menyaksikan demonstrasi penerbangan Bayraktar Akinci.
Baykar Technologies dikenal sebagai pengembang UAV terkemuka dengan teknologi canggih, yang telah berperan penting dalam mendukung kemampuan pertahanan Turki.
Kunjungan ini merupakan komitmen TNI Angkatan Udara untuk terus mengembangkan diri sebagai angkatan udara yang modern, sejalan dengan tekad Kasau, AMPUH (Adaptif, Modern, Peofesional, Unggul, Humanis).

While the specific equipment configuration of the Ankas is not currently known, they will be operated solely as a maritime surveillance platform in Malaysian service, and will not be equipped with any weaponry. According to European Security & Defence reporting from LIMA 2023, the Malaysian Ankas will have modified wings to improve their endurance.

Erol Oguz, unmanned aerial systems programme manager at Turkish Aerospace, told ESD at LIMA that the UAV type being supplied to Malaysia will be a new version of the Anka-S with modified wings. Oguz also confirmed that the Ankas will not be armed, but will carry a maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) payload that includes a synthetic aperture radar and an electro-optical/infra-red sensor.

Nih Pur delegasi Indonesia jg bisa kalo cuma kunjungan doang, tpi delegasi Indonesia punya rencana akusisi drone lain kyk akinci dan bayraktar, setelah pembelian 12 unit ANKA.
