Penanda-tanganan MoU antara PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia dan PT Dirgantara Indonesia (photo: PT DI)
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) sepakati Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia di Ruang Rapat Paripurna, Gedung Pusat Management (GPM) Lt. 9, PTDI Bandung. Perjanjian kerja sama tersebut ditandatangani Direktur Niaga, Teknologi & Pengembangan PTDI, Moh. Arif Faisal dengan Founder & CEO PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia, Jeremy Hasian Saragih, disaksikan Direktur Utama PTDI, Gita Amperiawan. Adapun ruang lingkup MoU meliputi kerja sama pengembangan, sertifikasi, manufaktur dan komersialisasi produk Advanced Air Mobility, yang bernama Intercrus Sola.
Pesawat PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia adalah pesawat Vertical Take-Off Landing (VTOL) elektrik dengan kapasitas 4 (empat) penumpang dan memiliki daya angkut 1.200 kg, yang akan memungkinkan perjalanan 9-10 kali lebih cepat dibandingkan mobil, dengan kemampuan jarak tempuh 100 km di area perkotaan, serta kecepatan maksimal 150 km/jam. Perancangan pesawat ini mengacu pada Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) Part 27, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Kementerian Perhubungan RI.
PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia merupakan perusahaan Start-Up di bidang penelitian dan pengembangan, serta manufaktur pesawat Vertical Take-Off & Landing (VTOL) elektrik pada sektor Advanced Air Mobility (AAM).

Kerja sama strategis PTDI dengan PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia akan mendukung pengembangan taksi udara di Indonesia, “Seiring dengan meningkatnya demand terhadap pesawat Advanced Air Mobility, seperti pesawat terbang e-VTOL, produk yang akan dikembangkan bersama PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia ini dapat membantu mengatasi masalah kemacetan lalu lintas di wilayah metropolitan, mengurangi waktu transit dan meningkatkan efisiensi ekonomi. Hal ini juga tentunya dapat memberikan nilai tambah teknologi dan peningkatan kemampuan engineering PTDI di sektor AAM,” jelas Gita Amperiawan, Direktur Utama PTDI.
Perjanjian ini dijadikan sebagai landasan kerja sama antara kedua pihak, dimana kedepannya PTDI dan PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia akan bersama-sama mengembangkan, mensertifikasi, memanufaktur dan komersialisasi pesawat Intercrus Sola.
"Kami juga berharap dengan terbentuknya tim teknis antara PTDI dan PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia dapat melakukan pengembangan teknologi industri ini secara progresif kedepannya, tidak hanya sebagai produk AAM untuk memenuhi kebutuhan penerbangan sipil, logistik dan tourism saja, melainkan juga untuk kebutuhan military & defense,” tambah Gita Amperiawan.
Kerja sama ini merupakan langkah awal bagi kedua belah pihak yang berkomitmen untuk mengembangkan layanan taksi udara. “Dengan adanya kerja sama dengan PTDI, kami dapat mengembangkan penawaran penerbangan otonom untuk penumpang di daerah perkotaan. Saat ini PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia sedang dalam tahap finalisasi desain prototype, yang rencananya akan disertifikasi oleh DGCA dan secara bertahap akan diproses sertifikasi oleh Federal Aviation Administration (FAA),” kata Jeremy Hasian Saragih, Founder & CEO PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia.

Three of the ships will be built in Turkiye under the LOA according to the release though it did not identify the shipyards to build them. Defence Minister DS Khaled Nordin was present at the LOA handing over ceremony so it is likely the ministry will issue – a less detailed press release on it. Do note that even if the LOA is issued, they could still be finalising the technical details of the ships.

The Malaysian government is facing a fresh corruption crisis after officials admitted that two US-made fighter jet engines had disappeared from an air force base after apparently being illicitly sold by military officers to a South American arms dealer.
The General Electric J85-21A engines, each worth about M$50m ($15m), were spares for the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s Northrop Grumman F-5E Tiger II fighters, which fly from the Butterworth air base near the country’s northern border with Thailand.

While the specific equipment configuration of the Ankas is not currently known, they will be operated solely as a maritime surveillance platform in Malaysian service, and will not be equipped with any weaponry.
