Peguam Negara beri maklum balas pembatalan sewaan helikopter Black Hawk
JELEBU: Kementerian Pertahanan (MINDEF) sudah mendapat maklum balas daripada Pejabat Peguam Negara (AGC) berhubung cadangan pembatalan kontrak sewaan helikopter Black Hawk untuk Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM).
Menteri Pertahanan Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin berkata maklum balas itu juga mengandungi apa yang perlu kementerian lalkukan dalam isu berkenaan.
Katanya MINDEF sedang berbincang untuk mencari jalan terbaik berhubung pembatalan itu.
"AGC beri semua kemungkinan, kalau dibatalkan macam mana, kalau tak batal apa perlu kita buat.
"Perbincangan itu tidak akan dibawa ke mesyuarat Kabinet sebaliknya akan diselesaikan di peringkat kementerian sahaja," katanya ditemui selepas merasmikan Mesyuarat Perwakilan UMNOBahagian Jelebu di Kompleks UMNO Jelebu di sini hari ini.
Hadir sama Ketua UMNO Bahagian Jelebu yang juga Pengerusi Badan Perhubungan UMNO Negeri Sembilan Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.
Pada 11 Mei lalu, TDM mengusulkan kepada MINDEF untuk membatalkan sewaan helikopter berkenaan susulan kelewatan penghantaran helikopter pertama.
Mohamed Nordin dalam jawapan bertulis yang disiarkan di dalam laman web Parlimen pada 1 Julai berkata kementerian mahu mendapatkan maklum balas daripada AGC berhubung cadangan pembatalan kontrak itu.
