Whiskey Company, 1RNZIR live firing on Exercise NUI DAT, employing the Bushmaster at section and platoon level.

Integration of vehicles, weapons, and soldiers working together to deliver combat effects when it matters. Train hard. Be ready.

Victor, Whiskey, and Support Companies are steadily building toward platoon-level combined live-fire exercises—day and night- incorporating both NZLAV and Bushmaster vehicles by the end of the exercise.

This training is a key step in maintaining the Battalion’s combat readiness, bringing infantry, armour, and support elements together as a cohesive, capable team—ready for operations when called upon.

Initially, Indonesia planned to introduce 48 KF-21s, three battalions, but decided to sign only 16 of them first due to defense budget constraints. In addition, it was found that detailed consultations have been held since the beginning of this year with local defense authorities and KAI participating.
