The ceremony to receive 7 AWAV (Armoured Wheeled Amphibious Vehicle) 8x8 armored vehicle types at the Royal Thai Marine Corps Headquarters (RTMC) in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province on 20 September 2024, presided over by Admiral Adung Phan-uem, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy (RTN).
It marks the official completion of the project since Chaiseri Metal & Rubber Co. Ltd., Thailand, the winner of the project to purchase 7 wheeled armored vehicles (8x8) of the type of personnel carrier by selection method, with a budget of 448,000,000 baht ($12,918,115) at a unit price of 64,000,000 baht ($1,845,445) per vehicle, announced on August 3, 2023.
The development, construction, testing and delivery of the AWAV 8x8 amphibious armoured personnel carrier was completed under the contract within about one year, which also saw its participation in the vehicle parade in the sunset ceremony to bid farewell to the Royal Thai Navy personnel who will retire on the same day.
According to media reports, a representative of Thai Chaiseri has revealed new information about the performance of the AWAV 8x8 amphibious armored vehicle, which can reach a speed of 13km/h while floating in water, higher than the specified requirement of 10km/h, and has a land range of 800km, higher than the specified 600km.
Seven AWAV 8x8 amphibious wheeled armoured vehicles have been inducted into the Marine Assault Amphibian Vehicle Battalion, Marine Division to operate alongside the Chaiseri Thailand-developed AAV7A1 RAM/RS amphibious vehicles , with plans to upgrade to a total of 12 vehicles.
The latest delivered AWAV 8x8 is a personnel carrier version equipped with a Guardian 1.5 remote weapon station (RWS) from Spain's Escribano Mechanical and Engineering (EM&E) company, equipped with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun and a Chaiseri 76mm smoke grenade launcher. Thailand is also looking at opportunities to develop other models for export abroad, similar to its First Win 4x4 wheeled armoured vehicle.

2024 = KUALA LUMPUR: Housing loans made up the largest chunk of household debt in Malaysia at 60.5%, it was revealed. The Finance Ministry stated that the aggregate national household debt stood at RM1.53 trillion between 2018 and 2023. In aggregate, it said the household debt for 2022 was RM1.45 trillion, followed by RM1.38 trillion (2021,) RM1.32 trillion (2020), RM1.25 trillion (2019) and RM1.19 trillion (2018). “The ratio of household debt to gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of 2023 also slightly increased to 84.2% compared with 82% in 2018,” it said.
The ministry was replying Labis MP, Pang Hok Liong in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday who asked the ministry to reveal the country’s aggregate household debt between 2018 and 2023.
For the period from 2018 to 2023, the ministry said the average annual growth of household debt was 5.1%. Other household debts included vehicle loans at 13.2%, personal financing (12.6%) and loans for other purposes, including non-residential property purchases, credit card debt, securities and others.

2024 = KUALA LUMPUR: Housing loans made up the largest chunk of household debt in Malaysia at 60.5%, it was revealed. The Finance Ministry stated that the aggregate national household debt stood at RM1.53 trillion between 2018 and 2023. In aggregate, it said the household debt for 2022 was RM1.45 trillion, followed by RM1.38 trillion (2021,) RM1.32 trillion (2020), RM1.25 trillion (2019) and RM1.19 trillion (2018). “The ratio of household debt to gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of 2023 also slightly increased to 84.2% compared with 82% in 2018,” it said.

The Finance Ministry stated that the aggregate national household debt stood at RM1.53 trillion between 2018 and 2023.
In aggregate, it said the household debt for 2022 was RM1.45 trillion, followed by RM1.38 trillion (2021,) RM1.32 trillion (2020), RM1.25 trillion (2019) and RM1.19 trillion (2018).
“The ratio of household debt to gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of 2023 also slightly increased to 84.2% compared with 82% in 2018,” it said..

"Hutang Kerajaan Persekutuan telah mencecah RM60.4%. Dia termasuk khidmat hutang. (Pada) 2022 kita bayar khidmat hutang RM41 bilion dan 2023 RM46 bilion.

Lebanon adalah sahabat yang istimewa. Tak hanya karena Indonesia menempatkan ribuan tentara TNI dalam misi menjaga perdamaian negara berjuluk Mutiara Timur Tengah tersebut, namun juga karena negeri cantik ini adalah negara ke-3 yang mengakui kemerdekaan Indonesia. Setelah Mesir dan Suriah, pada tanggal 29 Juli 1947, pengakuan secara de-jure diberikan kepada NKRI oleh Lebanon melalui Presiden Lebanon Bechara El-Khoury.

KOMANDAN UNIFIL = LOA (Letter of Appreciation) 2 TNI
KOMANDAN UNIFIL = TIDAK LARI TAKSI
pihak UNIFIL menegaskan kedua anggota TNI itu tidak lari tetapi diperintahkan mundur sesuai dengan ketentuan pasukan perdamaian. Mereka pun dianugerahi surat penghargaan dari Komandan Sektor Timur UNIFIL, atas jasa-jasa mereka.
Surat penghargaan (Letter of Appreciation) dari Komandan Sektor Timur UNIFIL dan Komandan Kontingen Spanyol, Brigadir Jenderal Juan Gomez De Salazar Minguez itu diserahkan pada Komandan Satgas, Letnan Kolonel Inf Andi Perdana Kahar dengan tembusan kepada Komandan Kontingen Indonesia di UNIFIL, Kolonel Inf Restu Widiyantoro.

Komandan Pasukan Pemelihara Perdamaian PBB di Lebanon Selatan (UNIFIL) memberikan perghargaan kepada prajurit TNI karena berhasil meredam perselisihan militer Lebanon dan Israel di perbatasan kedua negara pada 3 Agustus 2010.
Komandan Sektor Timur UNIFIL Brigadir Jenderal Juan Gomez De Salazar Minguez mengatakan, perselisihan militer Lebanon dan Israel itu berpotensi menimbulkan konflik lebih besar.

"Kami orang Lebanon sebenarnya tidak menghargai dan menghormati UNIFIL. Karena, mereka tidak berpihak secara adil pada orang Lebanon. Tetapi, kami melakukan ini karena sangat menghormati Anda orang Indonesia," ujar salah seorang anggota Hizbullah.
Setelah peristwa itu, Chief of Cimic Sector Major Ferera mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Staff Cimic Indonesia atas bantuan penyelesaian masalah, termasuk perlindungan serta pengamanan terhadap Tim Recce Spanyol.

Menurut Luki, tentara Indonesia mendapat perlakuan istimewa dari masyarakat setempat. Penduduk Lebanon menyambut hangat kehadiran Pasukan Garuda. Jika berpapasan atau bertemu, warga di sana menyapa prajurit TNI dengan teriakan 'Garuda'.
