Air defense readiness begins with realistic training. Because in a real mission…there may only be “one chance.”
The inspection team for the 2026 annual air defense missile firing exercise conducted a test firing of the RBS-70 MK-2 air defense missile using a "decoy" simulating a medium-range aircraft at Wing 5, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
This test was a "One Shot One Kill" approach, demonstrating the "intensity and seriousness" of the Royal Thai Air Force's air defense training.
RTAF is committed to developing the capabilities of personnel to have the ability and readiness in using equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
