TNI AL. Koarmada II --- Latihan Bersama (Latma ) ORRUDA 24 boleh dikatakan telah mencapai puncaknya, unsur-unsur kapal perang TNI Angkatan Laut (TNI AL) dan Russian Navy (RN) dengan perhitungan yang tepat dan akurat, sukses menggelar sejumlah formasi manuver di Laut Jawa dalam Tahap Laut atau Sea Phase, yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7-8 November 2024.
Berbagai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan selama latihan diantaranya adalah Tactical Maneuvering Exercise (Tacman), Boarding Exercise (Boardex), Small Arms Firing At Sea (Safas), Photo Exercise, Flashing Exercise (Flashex), Flaghoist, Heli Crossdeck, Personnel Exchange, Closing at Sea dan diakhiri dengan Farewell Pass dan Salute Form.
Adapun Alutsista yang dikerahkan TNI AL dalam Latma ORRUDA 2024 antara lain KRI I Gusti Ngurah Rai-332 (KRI GNR-332), KRI Frans Kaisiepo-368 (KRI FKO-368), dan helikopter AS 565 MBE.
Russian Navy menurunkan kapal perang Corvet Class seperti RF Rezky, RF Gromky dan RF Aldar Tsydenzhapov, serta Medium Tanker Ship Pechenga, dan Helikopter KA-27.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Komandan KRI GNR-332, Kolonel Laut (P) Ahmad Ahsan selaku Commander Task Group (CTG) menyampaikan bahwa menurutnya latihan ini cukup penting untuk menambah pengetahuan dan profesionalisme dari prajurit itu sendiri. Dimana kedepan berharap bisa semakin ditingkatkan dalam segi kualitas.
Gelaran Latma ORRUDA ini merupakan implementasi dari perintah Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut (Kasal) Laksamana TNI Dr. Muhammad Ali kepada seluruh jajaran TNI AL agar senantiasa memberikan yang terbaik dalam setiap tugas yang diamanahkan, serta mempersiapkan dengan matang latihan bersama yang digelar bersama negara-negara sahabat agar berjalan sesuai rencana dalam upaya meningkatkan interoperabilitas dan kerjasama. TNI AL dalam hal ini Pangkalan Utama TNI AL (Lantamal) V menyambut kedatangan Kapal Selam AL Rusia UFA dan Rescue Tugboat Alatau (Supply Vessel) yang sandar di Dermaga Jamrud Utara, Tanjung Perak, Surabaya, Kamis (07/11).
Kedatangan Kapal Selam 8 - 588 UFA dan Rescue Tugboat Alatau (Supply Vessel) dalam rangka submarine visit, dengan agenda kegiatan berupa kunjungan memorial ke Monumen Nanggala, Courtesy Call, SMEE Discussion, Sport Activity, Welcome Dinner dan City Tour.
Dalam sambutannya Komandan Pangkalan Utama TNI AL (Danlantamal) V Laksma TNI Dr. Arya Delano, S.E., M.Pd., M.Han., yang dibacakan Dansatrol Lantamal V Kolonel Laut (P) Edy Setyawan mengatakan, selamat datang Angkatan Laut Rusia di Kota Surabaya, semoga hubungan kerja sama dalam bidang Submarine antara Angkatan Laut Indonesia dengan Angkatan Laut Russia dapat terjalin dengan erat dan semakin baik.

"Dalam Latihan bersama TNI AL dan Angkatan Laut Rusia "Orruda 2024" yang saat ini Tengah dilaksanakan, salah satunya ada agenda port visit Kapal Selam Rusia ke Pangkalan TNI AL Surabaya, Ini kali pertama Kapal Selam Rusia melaksanakan port visit di Indonesia," ungkap Komandan Satuan Kapal Selam (Dansatsel) Koarmada II Kolonel Laut (P) Yulius Azz Zaenal.

Anyhow Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari told Parliament that the supplementary budget was necessary as the allocation for 2022 was lower some RM401 million from the 2021 one. The supplementary funds will pay for utility bills – electricity, internet, and sewage – (RM115 million); Maritime Security Operations (RM139 million) and Air Defence Operations (RM49 million).
Adly attributed the increase for maritime security operations due to higher fuel costs, new assets namely the four LMS and three Maritime Operations Helicopters and overseas exercises.
