Pemerintah inden 10.000 unit Maung, Pindad ditarget selesaikan 5.000 unit dalam 100 Hari
GridOto.com - PT Pindad (Persero) banjir orderan Maung dari pemerintah. Tak tanggung-tanggung, pemerintah langsung inden 10.000 unit Maung. Namun Pindad ditarget menyelesaikan 5.000 unit terlebih dahulu dalam jangka waktu 100 hari pertama pemerintahan era Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Keterangan ini seperti disampaikan Kepala Staf Kepresidenan (KSP), AM Putranto.
"Untuk program itu 10.000 (unit Maung) ke depan, untuk yang 100 hari kerja diharapkan 5.000 sekian dan itu akan berlanjut," ujar Putranto di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, (30/10/24) menukil Kompas.com.
Ia mengungkapkan, bahan material Maung mayoritas diambil dari dalam negeri, hanya 30 persen yang didatangkan dari luar negeri, yakni Korea Selatan. "Untuk yang 30 persen, itu dari Korea, ya kerangka dasar, mesin, sama kerangka," ucap Putranto.
Putranto menyebutkan, para menteri dan pejabat eselon I bakal diwajibkan memakai Maung sebagai mobil dinas mereka. Ia belum bisa memastikan apakah nantinya Maung itu bakal diberikan juga untuk kendaraan dinas wajib pemerintah daerah.
"Prioritas di sini (pemerintah pusat), nanti kalau dibagi semua kan enggak kebagian. Kalau (produksi) 10.000 artinya kan diprioritaskan (di pemerintah pusat)," kata Putranto.
Kepala Kantor Komunikasi Kepresidenan, Hasan Nasbi menyatakan, Maung Pindad dipilih sebagai mobil dinas para menteri sebagai bentuk kebanggaan terhadap produk dalam negeri.
"(Alasannya) Pak Prabowo kan menggunakan itu sebagai mobil kepresidenan. Dan beliau bangga dengan produksi Pindad," kata Hasan Nasbi di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta Pusat, (30/10/24). (OtoGrid)

Pindad Punya Prototipe Mobil Listrik, Sudah Diproduksi?
Jakarta - PT Pindad (Persero) tak hanya mengembangkan mobil Maung dengan mesin konvensional. Perusahaan pertahanan pelat merah ini juga sempat memamerkan teknologi mobil listrik mereka.
Beberapa waktu lalu, Pindad memamerkan prototipe mobil listrik dengan bentuk seperti Maung. Mobil listrik itu bernama Morino EV. Bentuknya identik dengan kendaraan taktis (rantis) Maung MV2.
Mobil itu tampil kekar ala kendaraan taktis. Desainnya mengotak seperti mobil Maung versi mesin konvensional.
Dikutip dari situs resmi Pindad, Morino EV adalah kendaraan taktis ringan roda 4 dengan tenaga elektrik. Mobil ini ditujukan untuk mendukung operasi dengan mobilitas tinggi.
Menurut data spesifikasinya, Morino EV hadir dengan penggerak daya elektrik berdaya maksimal 160 HP atau 125 kW. Morino EV bisa dipacu dengan kecepatan aman hingga 100 km/jam.
Prototipe mobil listrik yang dikembangkan Pindad ini memiliki baterai 92 V (150.000 mAh). Sekali cas sampai penuh, mobil ini bisa melaju hingga jarak 170 km.
Bagaimana kelanjutan proyek mobil listik Pindad tersebut? Apakah sudah diproduksi massal? Ryan Prasastyo selaku Corporate Communication Executive PT Pindad (Persero) mengatakan saat ini mobil listrik tersebut masih dalam bentuk prototipe.
"Belum (diproduksi massal). Masih prototipe," kata Ryan kepada detikOto.
Jika diproduksi massal nantinya, mungkin Morino EV buatan Pindad ini bisa jadi alternatif lain untuk kendaraan dinas menteri, wakil menteri dan pejabat eselon I di Kabinet Merah Putih di bawah kepemimpinan Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Apalagi, Prabowo disebut-sebut meminta agar menteri, wakil menteri dan pejabat eselon I tidak lagi menggunakan mobil impor dan memanfaatkan mobil buatan Pindad, yaitu Maung. (Detik)

A PT-91M Pendekar tank broke down on a highway in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, August 26, 2022, while returning to the Sungai Besi camp after rehearsals for the 65th Independence Day parade. The tank was towed to the National Museum for repairs. The next day, a prime mover also broke down on Jalan Damansara in front of the National Museum. The Malaysian Army apologized for the incidents and promised to dispatch a standby recovery team to prevent future breakdowns.
• Operational issues
The Malaysian Army is addressing operational issues with its PT-91M Pendekar tanks. The issues include problems with the Renk France ESM 350M hydrokinetic transmissions, the electronic components of the GLRF laser rangefinder, and the Sagem Savan-15 fire control system.
• Spare parts
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Pendekar PT-90M, Bumar Labedy from Poland, has stopped producing spare parts for the tanks.

Dibangunkan oleh syarikat Oto Melara daripada Itali, meriam itu yang juga dikenali dengan panggilan “Pack Howitzer” mula memasuki produksi pada 1957 dan sehingga lebih 30 buah negara terus menggunakan meriam itu.

A total of 171 assets from all three branches of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) have exceeded 30 years of service, underscoring the challenges posed by aging military equipment. The issue was raised by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin in response to a question from Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Kepong) during today’s parliamentary session. “The number of ATM assets exceeding 30 years in service includes 108 units for the Malaysian Army, 29 units for the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), and 34 units for the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN),” he stated. He added, “The operational lifespan of military assets varies according to their respective functions.” However, the minister did not provide specific details on the types of assets beyond the 30-year threshold. In recent years, military leaders have openly acknowledged the burden of outdated assets. Earlier this month, Malaysia Armed Forces (MAF) chief General Tan Sri Mohammad Ab Rahman disclosed to local media that 34 RMN vessels have surpassed their intended service life, with 28 of them over 40 years old. “The RMN currently operates 53 ships across various classes to meet operational and patrol needs within Malaysia’s maritime zones. “However, many of these vessels have exceeded their optimal lifespan in terms of capability, technology, and maintenance costs,” he said during a press conference after the 91st ATM Anniversary celebration at Camp Segenting earlier this month. According to General Mohammad, the age limit for RMN vessels is 35 years for submarines and 30 years for frigates, corvettes, logistics ships, next-generation patrol vessels, and hydrographic vessels. Smaller vessels, such as fast patrol boats, mine warfare ships, sailing vessels, and tugboats, have an age limit of 24 years. In July of last year, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim called for an overhaul of MAF’s procurement system, stressing the need for reform....

The Finance Ministry stated that the aggregate national household debt stood at RM1.53 trillion between 2018 and 2023.
In aggregate, it said the household debt for 2022 was RM1.45 trillion, followed by RM1.38 trillion (2021,) RM1.32 trillion (2020), RM1.25 trillion (2019) and RM1.19 trillion (2018).
“The ratio of household debt to gross domestic product (GDP) at the end of 2023 also slightly increased to 84.2% compared with 82% in 2018,” it said.

The OE allocation is an increase of some RM1 billion while the increase in DE is around RM450 million. A PT-91M Pendekar tank broke down on a highway in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, August 26, 2022, while returning to the Sungai Besi camp after rehearsals for the 65th Independence Day parade. The tank was towed to the National Museum for repairs. The next day, a prime mover also broke down on Jalan Damansara in front of the National Museum. The Malaysian Army apologized for the incidents and promised to dispatch a standby recovery team to prevent future breakdowns.
• Operational issues
The Malaysian Army is addressing operational issues with its PT-91M Pendekar tanks. The issues include problems with the Renk France ESM 350M hydrokinetic transmissions, the electronic components of the GLRF laser rangefinder, and the Sagem Savan-15 fire control system.
• Spare parts
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the Pendekar PT-90M, Bumar Labedy from Poland, has stopped producing spare parts for the tanks.
• Life Extension Program (LEP)
The Malaysian Army plans to implement an LEP for the Pendekar PT-90M Main Battle Tank. The LEP is expected to be included in the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) or 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP).
